When I decided to try the #becelplantbasedbricks for baking, I was not entirely sure how it would turn out - after all, for baking, butter is butter! But I was absolutely nicely surprised, these sticks worked just as well as butter. So I will definitely be using them more often moving forward. No difference in taste for final product, the pastry was nice and moist just like I am used to when I make it with regular butter. Pretty thrilled to have more plant based options now!

Easy baking

I found that it was really easy to bake with. It softened quickly and it mixed nicely with the other ingredients. I used it to bake pecan choc chip cookies and they tasted great and baked perfectly.

Becel Unsalted Plant-Based Bricks

Considering that this product was plant based, I found it to be very comparable to milk based products. The texture of it was good and I think it would be suitable for any recipe that requires unsalted butter. The taste was smooth and creamy just like regular butter. The price is a little on the high side but I would still recommend it if people are looking for a plant based product.

Good butter

When i purchased i was a little sceptical but once i tried it my opinion changed.

Plant based is awesome. And on top of that its completely natural which is something that attracted me to the product.

Bakes just like regular butter!

This was my first time trying a plant-based butter. I use butter mainly for baking and to add to my popcorn (which I have an addiction to). The greatest test for this butter was to make my Banana Bread. At first I was skeptical as the texture was extremely different than regular butter (which is a given) but the outcome was just as good! The Banana Bread came out amazing and just the same as the other times! The bonus to this is that my lactose intolerant sister can now enjoy my desserts!

I'd definitely recommend this!

Great Butter Alternative

This was such a great product! It had a defined butter taste and you wouldn’t know it was plant based if the packaged hadn’t stated it. Nice to have a plant based alternative fro butter! The package as well was attracting to consumers. I would definitely recommend and buy it again.

Excellent produit. Le goût est excellent est très bon. C'est très efficace pour cuisiner, pratique et delicieux. La texture est bien.le produit se manipule bien.

As a vegetarian , I totally recommend it. it is plant based which means no animal product has been added to it. You can use for cookies, or with bread in the morning.

Great

I received this product as part of the review club, but it came in very handy. I used it to cook some vegetables and also while making bagels. It totally replaced the need for "real" butter for me ! The texture is very similar to standard butter. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to use less animal products in their daily life. I used to cook without butter to avoid having to buy it, but not I've got a great alternative !

Highly recommended by me and by my little family! it’s a delicious margarine that I use daily in my cooking...tastes great and wonderful in my sweet recipes
