When I first got this polish I had extremely high hopes that it would indeed last 7 WHOLE DAYS. I am a polishaholic and have over 300 so I was super excited to be able to try CND Vinylux because I am always scouting new polish to try. So first off I love the color I was given, Plum Paisley, it was a beautiful dark, rich purple. It was super easy to apply the formula wasn't too thick and went on the nail nicely that being said when I applied the top coat after the "2 thin coats" I noticed it caused some shrinkage around the nail (shrinkage is when the top coat creeps up towards the middle of nail grabbing polish around it causing a noticeable ridge around nail). Below I am attaching 2 photos. one is day one of the polish application and it looks AMAZING sadly after day 3 there was already noticeable scuffs and tips had already started to wear off. So I would not pay $12.50 for a 3 day polish as that is the same wear as any other drug store brand. I would however pay maybe between 5-7. The top coat to me wasn't any better than my other ones per shrinkage so I found that a bit pricey. Overall I am so thankful to have been chosen to review and this polish it was ok just not worth it lol

I Got this to try from ChickAdvisor.
First off: I love the colour I got! (Powder my nose)

Let me break it down:
Pros:
- lovely range of colours for summer; formal events; everyday color;
-lack of nasty chemicals. (but I did still get a fairly strong odour)
-dries reasonably fast

Cons:
Sadly, the brush is just terrible! First coat left streaks which I thought ok, the second coat would cover, but sadly no. It doesnt matter how good the polish is if it doesnt go on well. I didnt remove it because I wanted to test the efficacy of the coats.
-The chips started happening on day 2 on both my hands :(

I'll try it again and see how if there is a difference. I'd still recommend it because it may be that my brush was defective.

I really liked the way the polish dried quickly and how it is hasn't chipped off yet, unlike other polishes. I just didn't care for the color I received. I am more of a shock color fan. My mom really liked the polish too

The nail polish is very nice applies well. Long lasting a couple chips here and there through out the week. BUT when I went to remove the nail polish it had stained my cuticles and nails a tint of red was left so I soaked my nails for a while in nail polish remover and that did not work. I am on my third day with a tint on my nails and skin making it look like I was squishing grapes all afternoon.

I've tried this polish for awhile now and I find that it is no better than any other polish. You have to use the vinylux top coat with it or it doesn't seem to set properly. Supposedly the longer it is exposed to sunlight the tougher it gets. I found that it will start to chip long before the week is up. Sometimes the next day or even the same day in my case. I always have my nails very clean and dry and I tried using a base coat but found it chipped even worse. So to me it is just another regular nail polish. So I was a bit disappointed. Maybe it would work better for others.

I was barely impressed with the CND VINYLUX polish...The colour I received was a shiny red which reminded me of the 80s. The polish is to be applied on clean nails and then you apply the Weekly Topcoat over it. I found that it chipped almost immediately after drying, within a day. I wasn't impressed at all. :(

I have sweaty hand, and I thought this would work for me, but it did not. I wore off easily.

I haven’t ever used the CND brand and was hoping this would be something I would end up stocking up on when I received a package in the mail as a surprise to review. Unfortunately after using the products I was left disappointed – comparable to an old Sally Hansen polish. The product was thick, ended up somewhat lumpy looking and ended up peeling off and chipping within a few days. I am a little rough on my hands (dishes every day, etc.), but even with a strong base coat and top coat, the product only lasted a few days.

I would recommend this product for people who are easier on their hands (than I am) – and for people who like vibrant colours!

I received this from Chickadvisor to review. I tried it as soon as I got it. It does go on easily and dry very quickly but unfortunately the colour began chipping within a couple of days. I was really hoping for it to last the full week. Maybe on others will last longer as the usual nail polish on my nails last no more than a day. That's the reason I usually use Bio Gel and shellac for my nails which last for a month maybe more. Thanks anyway for giving me the chance to try this new product.

I got this sent to me in the mail from chickadvisor. I was very excited to test it out. I did as the instructions said and used the colour polish and then the top coat after it was dry. My nails chipped within a day or two and I didn't really notice a difference between this product and a regular nail polish.
