I love nail polish and have quite the collection already, but for some reason had never tried CoverGirl Outlast. I had the opportunity to try Outlast during the #PanteneBeautifulHair event ChickAdvisor hosted last month and was immediately smitten. The very next day I picked a bottle up at the drugstore.

I chose "Lasting Love" - an unapologetic Crayola-bright red that I adore. That's not why I chose Outlast, though. Just like other nail lines, they have a wide variety of colours and it usually depends on the mood as to which shade will attract me.

The reason I was drawn to Outlast was that it's designed to be base, colour, and topcoat in one. As a religious base- and top-coat applier, I was skeptical. However, Outlast stands up to its promise and delivers a high shine, long lasting, and strongly pigmented nail lacquer that really only needs 1 coat. I put on 2 coats out of habit. I guess the only downside (if it can be called that) is that because of the rich colour, it's difficult to apply a semi sheer layer. This is an all-or-nothing polish.

For the price point (and I often see it on sale too), this really is one of the better polishes I've used. I would definitely buy more shades of Outlast... if I can find the space in my beauty cabinet :)

Love this product!!! Brilliant shine without a topcoat! Easy application with a beautiful smooth finish. I work with my hands and wash them very often, even with all this my color did not chip or damage for ALMOST a week. Normal nail polish would have flaked, chipped or scratched within a day or two. Have bought 6 different colors and I have to say the non metallic neutral shades do last longer than the others. I was not sure how easy the polish would be to get off or if it was going to stain my nails due to its durability, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it came off, and no staining!! Would recommend this product to everyone!!

I tried this nail polish for the first time at our #pantenebeautifulhair professional hair blow out event this past weekend, and let me tell you, was I ever pleased with the quality of this product.

The polish goes on smoothly with a shiny finish (even my boyfriend seemed to notice - shocker!) and holds up quite well. I do quite a bit of cooking which ultimately results in butchered nails at some point but they have held up quite well. It comes in a similar container to Chanel's nail polish (which may have added to the prestige in my head) but for a drugstore nail polish, this one works wonders!

Excellent coverage! I only needed one coat, and it stayed chip free for a week. It has a great glossy finish, but not too shiny. Will definitely be buying this product again!

I bought this on sale for $3.99 and I am very impressed! I have never tried Covergirl nail polish before, and I really like it! I have about 100 different bottles of nailpolish, every brand and shade possible. I like a nailpolish that is easy to apply - not too thick or thin, that you can get away with one good coat, and this delivers! This is my new favourite black polish. One coat was all I needed, although I threw another one on just so it would be stronger. I did not apply a topcoat the first time I wore it, and after two days I still had no chips - I don't think I have EVER had a nailpolish that has done this before without a topcoat. I also got a coral colour that is very pretty and will definitely be one of my go-to shades for the summer. I wish it had a better brush, I like the rounded brushes that Nicole polishes have, but the standard square brush will do the trick. If you see this on sale I would DEFINITELY buy this product. I don't know how much it is when it is not on sale, but if it is reasonable I would definitely buy.

I saw the new CoverGirl OutLast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss on sale for half price in the Supper Store advertisement this week and when I was shopping at Walmart I happened to see it there and I just I had to give it a try. It usually sells for about $8.49, but I had the Supper Stores advertisement with me, so I just price match it and only paid $4.97. As you can see in the picture the bottle and the top are square. It took me a bit to get use to it in my hand when I was applying the polish, but it didn’t take to long to get the hang of it. This polish is a base coat, a high gloss finish and a chip resistant top coat all in one and it’s available in 27 shades. I admit although I was excited to try it, I was also a bit sceptical. That all changed after only polishing one nail. The new CoverGirl OutLast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss is the best polish I have ever used and I’ve tried a lot! It goes on so nicely that one coat looks as if you have done two or even three coats. The high gloss finish gives your nails a finished look right away. Although they say it has a top coat built right in it, I still added a fast drying top coat. But not because I had too! I only did because I have a bad habit of messing up my nails before they’re dry, so if I don’t use a fast drying top coat I'd just make a big mess. I chose their Wine To Five color and I love it! It looks just like a red wine with a beautiful shine. I do a lot of typing and with some polishes I’ll have chipped nails by noon. If I’m really lucky with a polish they might last four maybe five days before the polish chips, or it starts to ware away on the tips. I haven’t had one chip since I did my nails with the CoverGirl OutLast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss and not one bit has worn away from my tips. My nails look as if they were just done this morning! I even had a woman ask today where I had my nail done because she thought they looked so good that I had to have had them done at a salon. I can see CoverGirl’s new Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss being one of the best products of 2013 when voting time comes around! Give it a try, I bet you’ll love it as much as I do!!
