thank you I had forgotten how much I love Dove...it leaves you skin feeling soft especially in the summer when more skin is exposed....they should make a soap case in the shape of the soap...I had one decades ago...cause the bar melts if I accidently leave it in the shower with 3 teenage boys showering...we save it for the girls

I was selected to review this soap as part of the review club. The first thing you notice is the smell. It's a nice clean scent. The bar is nicely contoured and easier to hold into than most bar soaps.
I found that it cleaned well, and left behind a light scent. It was quite moisturizing, almost as effective as my usual body wash with body butter. I would consider using it in the future, it is considerably cheaper than the body wash I use for a small difference in performance. I would recommend this soap to anyone who gets dry skin from their current soap product!

I received my Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar approximately 2 weeks ago, and immediately fell in love with the trademark Dove clean scent. At first I thought maybe it was intended for just facial cleansing – but then I figured if it was gentle enough for my face, it would be great for my whole body too. Right from my first experience with this bar, I could tell the difference between it and the body washes I’d been using. Even one that was intended for babies left my skin feeling tight and dry, while the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar left my skin feeling smooth and soft – with a clean smell. I didn’t even feel the need to moisturize afterwards like I’ve always had to do with other products.

Would I recommend this product? In a heartbeat, YES!! And for those who have sensitivities to fragrance, they also have a fragrance-free bar as well. I will definitely be buying the original though – it leaves me feeling fresh and softly scented from my shower, and not heavily perfumed like other products can do.

Thank you Chick Advisor for introducing this product to me, and allowing me a chance to review it. Dove has created a wonderful product here, and it should be part of every woman’s (and man’s!) daily cleansing routine.

I like the feel of my skin after using the dove Bar soap. Skin felts smooth and refreshed. I will continue to use.

I was very happy to be given a chance to review this product. When I first opened it, I was surprised to find that the soap did already have a creamy not rough or chalky texture to it, and the creamy texture continued when you were using it. It had a nice lather and it felt like it was actually doing its job. I would definitely recommend this product, and I will definitely be buying it again.

What I love about this product;

-the only bar soap I can use on my body and face (most bar soaps are too drying for my face)
-mild scent and creamy lather
-non-irritating to my sensitive skin
-cleanses my skin while leaving it soft and moist
-inexpensive

Loved the soap I am so happy that I got to try the Dove bar out ! The soap is liek your bathing your skin in cream which is what got my hooked ! I usually use Oil Of Olay and that was one of the ones that I swear by. Now I am swearing by the Dove bar. Gotta love the creamy feeling and knowing that it is also cleaning your skin. I am most positive that if you try Dove you will be hooked on it!

I used Dove for years and can't actually remember why I stopped in college. But using it again reminds me how much I love it. It doesn't dry out my skin. I don't get red spots and it's really moisturizing. And I love the smell! I may have stopped using it before but I'm definitely going to keep using it now.

My overall experience with this beauty bar was fantastic, it was very effective at getting my skin clean and it left my skin feeling soft, smooth and silky. This Beauty Bar by far, beats out my regular soap product, it does not leave behind a sticky residue and does not dry out my skin.

I am definitely making the switch to Dove and will definitely be recommending it to a friend.
