I heard so much about this product that I decided to try it out for myself. I was definitely not disappointed. The variety of scents is great. They all smell fantastic. I think that the hydration is great, and lasts a decent amount of time.
Although, it's a little less discreet in your pocket than a small tube of lip balm.
My favorite flavor has to be the Summer Fruit.
Am I the only one that is underwhelmed by these lip balms? Maybe because I've heard so many people rave about these so much that my expectation for the product was too high. I got the one in mint, and while I love the flavour, I didn't find them to be moisturizing enough for my lips. Maybe it is best suited for use during the summer months or when staying indoors because this lip balm certainly did nothing to help my chapped lips this winter season.
The packaging is adorable but it's not very practical. I find the dome-shape is a hindrance when it comes to applying it because it eventually gets flat which makes it harder to apply to the corners of your lips. In addition, you waste so much product because it's hard to get it out of the packaging once it flattens out. The lip balms that come in stick form are a lot more practical.
I don't think this lip balm is worth the hype. Unless they change the formulation to make it more moisturizing, I will not be repurchasing this again. There are other drugstore lip balms that work a lot better.
Very cute design for this lip balm, easy to find in my purse. I really like the color and scent selection for these. My favorites are "summer fruit" and "sweet mint". These have a sweet taste and smell. I find these work great under a lipstick, not the best for overly chapped lips. I would recommend" La Roche Posay Ceralip" for very dry, chapped lips (apply at night, keeps your lip nice and soft). The finish is very natural (no gloss or sheen). I bought mine for 3.99$ CAD at Walmart.
I got this in Sweet Mint. It was a replacement for my usual lip balm, and I'll definitely be buying this again.
I like the mint flavour, it gives my lips that soothing tingly feeling and smells sweet and fresh! It's also worked very well to keep my lips protected from the cold/dry weather where I live right now. It doesn't show up on my lips too much, it just looks like a hint of shine. I kind of prefer this with my lip balms - my usual favourite can sometimes look kind of chalky and gross if you put too much on at once, which was always a negative for me. But this one looks natural on the lips, and goes on very smoothly so you don't need much anyways.
The packaging is cute, and I actually find it helpful when I'm digging through my purse to get this - it's way easier to find than my other lip products! And I like the twist-off top, it's easy to take off/put on and stays on securely.
This is a decent product and I'm glad I tried out. I'll be buying the Sweet Mint again for sure, and may have to try some of the others as well!
I have the green scent, and I was a bit disappointed with this lip balm. It's not very hydrating, and a bit waxy, but I find it works well under lipstick. I wouldn't recommend this for chapped lips, but it's ok for everyday use, and the ingredients are great so you don't have to worry about licking it from your lips. Also has a bit of a sweet taste.
The design is cute, but not very practical - I still prefer a stick/tube form. To me, the summer fruit scent smells the best! I would probably only buy that one again. I do prefer this over burt bee's - that one is even MORE waxy.
These guys at EOS definitely knew what they were doing when they made these little eggs! They're unbelievably adorable and they work well too! I like all of the different flavors and they're just so cute I'm always tempted to buy more even when I'm nowhere close to running out. They've made the cut as a staple item in my lip moisturizing spread!
I love this balm, I love the shape because it makes it easy to apply. I also love the scents/flavours and it works fairly well. when it comes to the moisturizing part, it has to be applied several times in order to work.
I find that this lip balm dries out my lips, I have to re-apply all the time. Other than the cute/different packaging I'm not impressed with what's inside.
Will not buy again!
I am very on the fence about this lip balm. I always hear great things, so when I saw the recent Holiday Trio pack out, I went for it and bought one. It comes with Mint, Pomegranate, and Vanilla. First, the idea of these is neat - they're organic and very unique. The shape of them, while cute and different, isn't that practical to carry around. It's easy to apply, but looks a little strange, and it's not something you can carry in your pocket or a small purse. I will be keeping these on my bedside table and in my large purse, but that's about it. The product itself is nothing spectacular. The flavours aren't overly delicious, but they're okay. My favourite is the Mint. It goes on smooth and does a nice job coating my lips and healing them, but at the same time I find it a little "tacky", and I feel the need to re-apply often because it doesn't last very long. There's also no real shine to them. Ultimately, I'm giving this a thumbs down because there's way better lip balms for the money.
I have the peppermint one and I love it. It makes my lips feel smooth and doesn't leave that white line after wearing the lip balm for a bit.
