Great lightener for medium blonde hair

i received the be en-lightened as a sampler, worked great for lightening my medium blonde hair before applying the electric blue creative dye, only lightened a few strands but was quite impressed with the blonde colour that resulted.

DIdnt lighten very much

Having darker hair I knew it wouldn’t lighten it too much but this barely worked at all. As well the colour was uneven. It left my hair feeling dead I wouldn’t recommend lightening you hair with this product.

J’aime que la senteur n’est pas forte mais j’aurai quand même attendu qu’il éclaircisse plus mes cheveux même s’ils sont bruns. Je ne sais pas si je réutiliserai. Cela dependra des autres commentaires que je verrai ici.

Needs to be with a dye

It needs to be partnered with another colored dye and not used alone. I received a blue colour with it but it would have been too harsh of a colour Chan’s without it. Too drastic of a colour change to do highlights, perhaps if it came with tin foil or something to assist may make it a more user friendly product. (Side note: I don’t dye my hair frequently so this is partially my fault on lack of skills to be able to highlight hair). I think I would need to try this product a few more times to be comfortable using it without a friend around to assist.

great for light to medium toned hair

Considering the price of the product, I think it does a good job at lightening the colour in order to prepare hair for a creative colour application.

I have really thick, naturally ginger-red (okay, orange) hair, lighter than auburn but darker than strawberry blonde. I prefer to only dye my hair on the bottom layer, so that the roots are less noticeable when growing out. I used the lightener to lighten my hair, applying it to the roots and then dragging it out to the ends. I set a timer for 35 minutes, then washed it out with shampoo, followed by the conditioner that came in the box (left on for two minutes and rinsed). It didn't bleach my hair to the colour of the model's hair, but I would never expect to get those kind of results with one bleaching.

lightning was a success!

i got to try GÖT2B LIGHTENED by chick advisor for free. i was very excited to try this hair lightning product. I was surprised at how much it actually lightened my hair. My hair is dark and long, I wasnt sure how much i would need so i used on some high lights. If i was to do my entire head I would definitely need two boxes. All in all i was happy with the out come, it was fairly easy to use. If you like home boxed dyes then this is a product you should try.

This product was easy to use and it has helped to lighten your hair to add the colours before you have to add the colours it was a little time consuming because it was to step and this product was easy to use this product works well and does what it says it will do

I got this product from chick advisor to try out. All and all not bad for a lightener it didn’t destroy my hair. I’m really glad I got my hair cut before I tried it because there is no way it would have had enough to lighten my whole head. It doesn’t seem to lighten evenly which was a little disappointing. Also the instructions were pretty tiny. It’s fine for me but someone with glasses may have trouble reading them. All and all I was pretty excited to try it and will probably use again.

Showed on my dark hair

I was very skeptical as some lighteners do not work as my hair is quite dark. However I was very impressed with this. I would say it lighted my hair the stated 8 levels. It did make my hair a bit brassy, which was expected since I do have red tint to my hair. I only did the tips as i didn't think I could do my whole head with only the one bottle. I would recommend this if you want to lighten your hair, I would not say this would make you blonde though, so just a heads up.

It definitely lightens!

My hair colour was initially dark brown - almost black. It’s pretty much virgin as the hair I coloured had not previously coloured. I used the product on my entire head and although it was my first time using a lightener at home and it came out a little uneven probably because of my skills, I was impressed at how quickly it worked and the hair was processed. Because of this I left it on for the minimum time given on the box. I got scared of what colour I might end up with if I left it longer. Either way, it was a decent product and I’d probably use it again! I appreciate having been given the opportunity to try this for free. My hair ended up being a light golden brown definitely several shades lighter.
