got2b pretty

so i hesitated to use this due to job searching. i didn't want bright unnatural colour to hinder my ability to get a job. that being said sorry for the delay.

i decided finally on a job and jumped on the first chance I had to colour me up all pretty!

since sharing is caring my son joined in on the fun.

one of my biggest concerns with bright colours is always bleeding later on sheets and pillow cases. which has not been a problem! A+ on that aspect.

my son being more darker blonde than I agreed with me to skip the pastelizer and to go with just bright bold colours.

me pink/red and him purple. success in our books. my colour is bright and vibrant. his not as much but still very much purple.

Meh

I tried the got2b unlimited hair dye. Not a fan of the color chosen. It’s too bright for my light hair and stained it. Hard to wash out. But if you like the color or have a lighter color I’m sure it’s fine. Probably would t be buying this anytime soon.

Good for ombre/balayage hair

I wasn't expecting it to be too bright but since I had ombre/balayage hair, the colour did turn out alright. However, it wasn't enough product to apply evenly (probably need two-three boxes for long hair) and went on unevenly. I do wash my hair 1-2 times a day so the colour didn't last long at all but it would be good for an occasion. I wouldn't purchase it for myself necessarily but I could see that this would be a fun for a young person who's looking for a non-permanent change once in a while.

I don't think I would buy this again.

I got this product for free (#gotitfree) from Chick Advisor.
I think this product is more geared to someone who has help to put it on their head. Or someone who is much more advanced when it comes to hair colour. It was quite difficult to use properly and get the desired effect. There also was not enough product to do all of my hair (my hair is to my shoulders and very fine, but I do have quite a bit of it). The colour that I did get from it was pretty good though. If I bought 1 or 2 more boxes I probably would have had enough.

Read before buying this "stuff"

I was very impressed when I received this product, I thought it was very cost effective, amazing that you could use only one color if wanted and not only could you turn the colors pastel but it's paired up with Schwarzkopf! Was I WRONG! Upon opening I thought the pink hair coloring brush was adorable but thought the tubes containing the color were smaller than mini paint tubes! The mix that "claimed" to turn the pink,red or purple Pastel did not even change the color of the pink in which I was using to color my hair and only the pink which the instructions said something along the lines of- you can use one color or all!" After using the entire pastel packet on my tiny amount of an extremely vivid pink, the color didn't change and thinking it might as the color takes to my hair... Well, it only covered my head to the middle of my scalp maximum.(Thank goodness for manic panic) It turned out as vivid without the pastel mix working what so ever. It was horrible. I have a degree in beauty so this isn't my first rodeo so I am very dissatisfied, disappointed and upset and my hair looks awful. *Ugh*!!!!

Meh...

I received the "Sunburst Collection" (purple, red and pink rainbow). My hair was already bleach blonde/silver and it is shoulder length and thin. I tried to achieve the look on the box but the package does not come with dye. Luckily it's only semi-permanent, right? Wrong! The red colour is still faintly in my hair, the purple has faded to a pinkish colour and the pink has completely washed out. I've even been washing my hair with Head and Shoulders every wash!! I think I could have achieved the look on the box if I had 2 boxes of colour, but I don't think it would last very long and it would fade unevenly and odd looking lol. Thanks for letting me try this product, Got2B & ChickAdvisor!!

My hair looks pretty!

I liked the way that my hair turned out, but I was upset that they didn't give very much pastelizer to make the colours even more pastel. I used the pink and purple and they ended up being almost the exact same colour. Also in order to to do both colours at once I ended up having to buy an extra brush to do the other colour. I would buy again to do just one colour.

Fun colours

I #gotitfree from Chickadvisor to try. The packaging looked fun and was excited to see three different colours to try. Once I opened the package I was disappointed by the little amounts of hair dye in each colour (pink, red and purple) and was only provided with one tray. There isn't enough dye if you have long hair (which I have) So I ended up doing rainbow tips. It was fun colours but didn't find that it lasted very long. The instructions are not very clear on how to properly do ombre with each colour so unless you've done that before it may be difficult to properly blend the colours. If you want short term colour and rainbow colours in one box then buy this product. If you have lots of hair you may need to buy 2 boxes. I did like that they gave you an option to make the colours pastel.
