Best cheap shampoo

Although this shampoo makes my hair itself feel soft, it does not hydrate my scalp. That being said, I gave this product high ratings because it is one of the ONLY affordable, drugstore shampoos that is cruelty free! This should be a no brainer in this day and age. I applaud herbal essences for that. Now let’s make it biodegradable!

My daughter loves it

My daughter used to have extremely long hair which was very dry. I bought this shampoo for her to try and she fell in love with it. The rest of us like it too. It has a pleasant fragrance and helps get rid of the dryness.

It’s alright!

I’ve used a lot of options and this option is alright. I mean if you’re in a pinch and need something and this is there is prob but it again. It’s an average of $5 depending where you’re at. It’s not the most effective for getting your hair feeling like some other more prestige products but for $5 you can’t really go wrong. It does provide some softness for the price and obviously has the ability to clean your hair and feel fresh and clean! So that’s a benefit!

Good product.

This shampoo smells heavenly! It has definitely moisturized my hair along with the conditioner. My opinion it isn't the best moisturizing shampoo put there but for the price it is worth it.

I would reccommend

smells great and leave hair clean!! I normally use Pantene and dove but from time to time I buy this and I enjoy using it. it lathers well and leaves hair smelling good for days. the only reason I dont use it all the time is because I buy the value sized dove/pantene shampoos and conditioners from Costco, but if Costco had this in value sizes I would definitely switch my shampoos and conditioners:)

Smells great and works in dry climates great

I have used this product in Vancouver and found it a bit too conditioning. Moved to Toronto and used the rest of the bottle and found it worked great. The extra humidity in Vancouver already added moisture to my hair. I would only use it in the winter months personally

Not for me

I bought this shampoo as my usual one was out of stock, unfortunately for me it made my hair pretty dry and brittle, however for my partner it worked wonders. It obviously just agree with my hair type, but for the right person it seems to work!

One of my fav brands

What can I say about Herbal Essences. This brand has been a favourite of mine since I could wash my own hair! The scents are always so nice and it's an all round good shampoo.

Hydration is Key

This one has a nice fragrance. I find most of the Herbal Essence shampoos have a stronger scent than a shampoo or conditioner may need. Needless to say it worked well with my hair and had a long lasting scent after i washed and styled it.

Great everyday shampoo

The shampoo smells lovely and it doesnt dry out your hair after washing so would be good for people who washes their hair daily.
I cant say the shampoo is extremely effective but the fact that it doesnt dry out my hair after washing is already pretty good.
