Expected more for the price

The frizz ease by John Freida isn't quite what I expected. It didn't really tone down the frizz as much as I was hoping for, for the price. I wasn't impressed enough to say "wow, my hair is a lot less frizzy" and there are cheaper products out there that will do the same job.

Meh..

I was excited to use this one during the summer when my frizz is at an all time high. I wasn't overly excited about it. I found that it ended up making my hair more greasy after a day than other shampoos and my hair was still frizzy.

Liked it, but left my hair frizzy

Hair type: Thick, naturally wavy, greying brunette hair. Frizzy.

I used this shampoo alongside the matching conditioner and I have to say that I did like it, but it doesn't do what it promises. At least, for my hair, it didn't. I found it pretty ironic (in a product tester kind of humour way) that it left my hair waaaaay frizzier than it normally is. I mean, the whole claim of this is to reduce frizz, so it's weird that on my hair it had the opposite effect. That being said, I liked the overall effect on my hair. It did leave my hair soft and really shiny and unlike the other Frizz-Ease I tried, it didn't leave it dull and lifeless. In terms of a shampoo, it's smack bang in the middle and I'd definitely use it again, but if you can't stand frizz it might be a deal breaker.

It's scent is similar to other Frizz-ease products and has a generic, feminine perfume smell. It lathers well and is easy to wash out and the bottle is really good both in terms of not falling over and being easy to open and dispense.

Got this item to try as a sample and i'm glad i didn't spend any money on it, the product did not work for my hair at all, frizz stayed the same, my hair was dry and not shinny at all, for sure will not be purchasing this item

not very effective

I received sample from John Frieda and I bought the shampoo and conditionner after the use. The first shampoo with the sample seems greats. It did help with frizz a bit, but didn't smooth them completely.I feel my hair are a bit heavier then usual. This is expensive for the amouth of product there is and I'm a bit deceived by this product. I thought it would be my new holy grail because John Frieda is suppose to be a brand for curly/frizzy hairs. I'm truly not impressed. I won't buy it again because I would love to try other shampoo to find my holy grail.

I received a sample of this product (shampoo & conditioner) for free. I've been perming my hair for over 10 years so it gets quite frizzy and not so smooth looking if I don't do regularly treatments and use expensive products. This was a good temporary solution to that - it kept my hair smooth after the wash and maybe a day after, but it is not a permanent fix to frizzy hair.

I have bought a while ago and I kind of regret it....My hair weren't more straight even though I used the shampoo, the conditier and the serum for more than a month. In fact my hair were just more dry with those product.
But they smell good.

I have thick curly frizzy hair and I found this product worked pretty decent. I don't think I worked as good as it should for the price though. And I did find it made my hair greasy after a day. But my frizz was a lot tamer which was still a plus

Was expecting better results, considering it's a line specially for smoothing hair. It seemed to almost dry my hair out. I have frizzy prone hair and when I blow dried it, looked great but a few hours later the friz crept back in. Not sure I'd repurchase.

Seemed to do its job. Wasn't wowed by the products I have used better before. But overall wasn't bad for the price and like noted above did its job! If it was on sale I'd buy again.
