Great product!

I’m a natural strawberry blond but I love red hair and I didn’t want to dye my hair red so I thought I’d give this a try and see if it helped bring out my red more! And it definitely did! It was subtle but really pretty and made my hair nice and shiny! The smell is amazing too! Kinda spicy! Lathers really well and the conditioner leaves my hair soooo soft!

I would most defiently buy again.

Red is notorious for fading/losing vibrancy quickly however while using both the John Freda shampoo and conditioner together I found a substantially longer period of redness between dyes.

Long live the red, for as longg as possible!

As fall approaches, so do fun hair colors, but making them last can be a struggle.
I previously have dyed my hair red, going brown again not long after due to the extreme high maintenance of red coloring. With each wash, the color bleeds out and you are just left quite literally watching your money go down the drain. This is only followed by getting out, blow drying your hair and seeing how much your color faded right before your eyes.
This can be a major deterrent.
In almost a fit of desperation this time, I tried the John Freda Radiant Red. After seeing it on the shelf I was intrigued. Although it is not color depositing, the dye in the shampoo itself helps to not strip as much color but instead, hopefully leave some in your hair. I used it a couple times, really paying attention to the effects it was having and was left feeling pleasantly surprised. I wasn't scared anymore to really clean my hair in fear of losing all the color, and the conditioner left my hair in a very healthy state which I was also pleased with.
After doing some investigating afterward, I also found that there was no other shampoo dedicated to red hair in the 'Shoppers Drug Mart' stores I usually shop at. So thanks John!

I started using John Frieda's Radiant Red Shampoo and Conditioner since I died my hair auburn (again) three weeks ago. In addition to the colour looking rich and not fading fast, I love the cleaning and conditioning effects with my hair. My hair has never felt and smelled soo good! I can't stop touching and smelling my hair, more now than ever. I have been flip-flopping between drugstore shmp/cond products and salon products for years and this is the first drugstore product I have used that has felt like salon product results!
