First and Last Kind Bar

I am adventurous in the way that I love to try new things as soon as they come out. If not then I make it my mission to try things off of my list at least a couple of times a week. I want to make up my own mind about a product and I rarely give credence to the opinions of others because I don't think that is a fair way to judge something with which you have no personal experience.
This past week I decided to finally get arlound to trying a Kind bar. Theu were on sale fort 99crents and I had a $1 coupon so it wasnt going to cost me anything other thamn the time to try it. I was prepared to get a ton more if I liked it while I still had thje opportunity to get them for free.
Well that never happened. I tried the maple pecan because i love maple and the pecan is my favourite nut. So what was there not to like?
Plenty apparently, the bar i thought would be more soft or chewy was rock hard, snapped off in pieces. The maple flavour was almost undetectable the bar was without flavor and even the pecans seemed stale.
after one bite my mouth was dry and I could not even swallow what I had chewed until I got a drink to wash it down. Not one to give up easily i tried twice more to eat a piece. I wanted to give it a fair c hance. But there was no way I was going to aQuire a taste for this product. Ever!!
i am very disappointed because I really wanted to love these bars like everyone else seems to but now I am just confused as to why. I will however try one more flavour just so I can be sure that my assessment is fair and I gave it a good shot.
