My review on the masque pretty much said it all. The product isn't worth its retail price.

The bottom line is that it falls in the grey zone. My hair wasn't noticeably different. I did like the masque better than the shampoo, primarily because the shampoo didn't lather as much as I like. I love it when shampoo gets frothy and soapy. This may be too creamy to do that.

It has the same scent as the masque. I didn't like it either way.

A "professional" system or not, I wouldn't recommend it. Pay a little more to Kerastase or Shu Umera your locks, or pay a little less and still get quality at drugstore price.

Recieved this as part of the Product Review Club.

I never really find any difference between different brands of shampoo and it was the same with the L'Oreal. It cleaned my hair but other than that, I didn't notice any changes.

I wouldn't recommend this as it's quite pricey for a shampoo. I'll stick with my drugstore brands instead.

I have never tried anything from the L'Oreal Professional product range so I was excited to give this shampoo a go because my hair tends to get damaged quite easily as I dye it every month.

This shampoo doesn't lather amazingly well but it's OK, it products enough foam to properly cover my scalp. It's also easy to wash and it leaves my hair squeeky clean, which is what I always look for in a shampoo.

The smell is kind of strange to me - at first I though it smell of banana but it quickly because overpowering herbally and strange!

I can't say this shampoo is anything special - like any other shampoo, it does properly clean the hair, but I didn't notice my hair being softer, shinier of volumized after use.

Honestly, I would not recommend this shampoo, especially if you take into account the steep price for such a small bottle. It's a very average products and there's plenty of similar shampoos at the drugstore for a much more affordable price.

I was lucky enough to try this shampoo along with the Repair Masque. Overall I thought the product was okay, but not great. I thought the squeeze tube packaging was okay and the scent of the product was nice. Originally, I was thrown off by the size of the bottle because it looked so small. Thankfully, a little of the shampoo goes a long way. You can get quite a nice rich creamy lather from just a little product that feels great. In terms of effectiveness, I thought the product was alright. From what I understand, this is supposed to be considered a higher end shampoo, but I didn't think the quality was much different than a drugstore shampoo. Despite the thick lather, the shampoo is not drying and did not leave a tangle of my hair which was great.

I don't think I would recommend this due to the above average price for an average quality product.

I received this shampoo as part of the Product Review Club from ChickAdvisor and L'Oreal (thank you!).

Off the bat, the first thing you notice with this shampoo is the clean creamy banana scent. It is a pleasant smell, but if you prefer your shampoos unscented, it may not be for you. While the scent does not linger, if you sniff your hair throughout the day, you would definitely still be able to smell it.

The shampoo has a creamy texture and is of a good consistency - not too runny but not too thick either. It lathers well and is easy to work into my long hair. Once the shampoo is rinsed out, it leaves my strands squeaky clean with no semblance of any leftover residue.

Personally, I have not noticed any changes to my hair due to this shampoo (the masque is another story). While I have only used the shampoo for a couple of weeks and it may be too early for any noticeable changes to happen, in general, I do not think that the shampoo has improved my hair's moisture levels or smoothness. My hair is generally healthy, therefore I cannot speak towards its efficacy in bringing about a healthier appearance to my hair.

Compared to other reparative hair treatments, I find that this shampoo is average, and while it does not dry my hair out further, I do not notice much improvement either.

As this is a professionnel series product, I assume that the price is more elevated than L'Oreal's drugstore shampoos. For a higher price, I would rather spend the extra money on a product that remains on your hair for a longer period of time (and theoretically would lead to better results) such as L'Oreal's Professionnel Intense Repair Masque.

My hair its pretty dry especially in the winter so this intense repair shampoo & mask was something I know my hair would react to and I would be able to tell you if it worked or not.

On first inspection I noted the smell of the products(isn't that what everyone does ? The sniff test). It has a nice light scent with a faint scent of citrus. Smells lovely and doesn't over power your senses. So far so good.
Now for me a product is considered good in my books if after upon air drying my hair my hair is soft and silky and not weighed down. Again so far so good.

They say to use the repair mask after you towel dried your hair I just rang out my hair a bit in the shower, applied it and let it sit on my hair while I shaved/ washed up.

Its a great product works amazing. The down fall is (as others have noted) the bottles are very small for the price of the product. For that alone I cannot recommend this as I don't see the value in it. There are plenty of comparable products at a more budget friendly value that also give you way more product.

I enjoy L'oreal as a brand and many of their products are my favourite that I continue to buy on a regular. This one however won't be one I will be purchasing or using to replace my current favourite brand.

First off i would have to say $30 for this product isnt really worth it for this shampoo (the masque too) I think its really similiar to just any normal shampoo from the drugstore. To me this kind of smells like bananas! So it doesn't bother me at all, but i did notice that it doesn't lather well, which isn't a huge problem for me. This doesn't leave a scent behind, while washing my hair & even after i blow dry. I do like it when a shampoo leaves a scent behind..
This shampoo did leave my hair pretty soft, but i'm sure you can find something way cheaper that can do the same.
My hair also felt a lot less dry, but everytime i use moisturizing products my hair gets really flat, which looks like i didn't even wash my hair at all.

To be honest, i wouldn't repurchase this unless it was maybe $10- under, because really i think it's the same as a lot of other shampoos.

Now I have to preface my review by saying if this was a $10 Drugstore shampoo I'd say Go for It! But as its a $30 Salon product I am not so impressed with it. I expect more from a pricey shampoo.

It has a fresh scent but a bit thin in consistancy. It doesnt lather much - which I know isnt a sign of how well it cleans but I had to be careful not to use too much. It cleans well and rinses out easily. It didnt leave any noticable scent to my hair afterward which I would prefer it did. Using it on its own or with a different brands conditioner/masque did not give me any noticeable improvement to my hair.
Used with the matching LOreal masque DID provide a flatter, less 'poofy' air dried hair. I did really like the combo effect but can not justify the price it would come at. There are great drugstore brands that can do the same (or L'Oreals own Eversleek line!)

I am very pleased to have had the chance to test this product out.Thank you ChickAdvisor! =D
Normally walking through the endless shampoo isles I would have thought not a chance in hell would I purchase this teeny tiny bottle(250ml) of L'oreal shampoo for $30! I can get a 1L of Redken or something for $20.BUT since I have been dealing with the super dry cold winter that is happening, I couldn't have been introduced to this product at a better time.
First off the packaging is nice, simple and it works for me. The scent is pleasant but not amazing, not over powerful either. This product does lather nicely which I am always fond of in a shampoo, it just feels like it is doing it's job properly with more of a lather. I did find my hair to feel more moisturized after using this product a few times, I didn't feel that this would be a type to use daily, even in winter since I did notice it added some weight to my hair.
I have fine just past the shoulders length hair and I usually don't use a moisturizing shampoo since they do weigh down my hair more then regular shampoo.
This teeny bottle does have quite a few uses out of it since the product is fairly concentrated, you will get most of your monies worth.
I would recommend this but I don't think I would purchase this with my hair type, dammit for being cursed with fine hair! I think if you have thicker hair it might be a better fit but I will definitely use up this bottle.
