These semi-matte lipsticks are very creamy when you apply them and the colour are very vibrant and pigmented. I tried poppy please, a beautiful red shade and it truly complimented my dark skin tone. I had never tried any marykay products before but this will definitely make me! #MKsemimatte

I tried this lipstick in Midnight red & Powerful Pink - I love the midnight red for night time and the powerful pink for daytime. The colors are nicely pigmented and slide onto the lips quite easily. I find it very matte even though it says it's semi-matte. The price is very good,definitely on the lower price range. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is b/c I don't find it hydrating enough, but that's to be expected from matte lipsticks.

I received at the showcase 2016. I got in the shade powerfull pink and midnight red. Powerfull pink its a bright magenta pink and midnight red is more dark red. They moisturize your lips, they are semi-matte and i feel confortable in this. The packaging is quite nice, the top part is clear so you can see visibly the color of the lipstick.

I tried the Mary Kay gel semi-matte lipstick in Powerful Pink. While the colour was really nice, I don't feel like there was enough pigmentation. I don't think that it is worth the price.

Received the product from Chockadvisor showcase and wqas delighted to try out two completely different color: the midnight red and the poppy please shade. Both colors looked beautiful when i swatched them! However, when i tried the poppy please, the shade was a tad bit too bright for my skintone. It's a red with a hint of orange. On the other hand, midnight red is absolutely gorgeous color for fall and it doesn't transfer when i drink water. The lipstick is a bit dry since it is semi matte. But with a lipbalm, it would be perfect!

I received this product from the Chick Advisor showcase. I got the shades Poppy Please and Midnight Red. As an Asian olive skin tone, I believe the shade selection in this Gel Semi-Matte collection was made for either light and tanned skin tones more because Poppy Please made me more yellow than I already am. Although Midnight Red looks decent on my skin tone, I prefer less color pigmentation as personal preference. If you had to buy a new lipstick, I would not recommend this because it's also 21$. You can probably get better lipsticks out there in the drugstore or Sephora.

Oh em gee. This lipstick is amazing. It's a matte finish and I love all things matte. It's a beautiful colour, in poppy please. It's a great colour to wear day or night. It transfers easily, but that's ok because it keeps my lips very moisturized and soft!

Waw! Le produit est vraiment super! La couleur "rose puissant" sort vraiment bien et les autres couleurs de la gamme ont également l'air d'être très belles. Après l'application, les lèvres sont douces et ne collent pas ensemble. Très bon produit.

I tried this at the Montreal showcase and it went on so smooth! I got midnight red and it's a beautiful red for fall! Super excited to try the other shades! I'm wearing it in the picture the farthest to the right:)
