Clumpy, sparkly look

I am not a fan for chemical sunscreen to begin with. I followed the instructions to use this as the last step of the regime. However, there is just no way to evenly spread out this cream. It’s thicker than the gel cream in the same line. Upon application, there are these white clumpy residue on the skin, and the skin seems to have this pearly sparkly look which I don’t like... Also, this product line is so highly fragranced and the smell lasts for so long even after washing... just not for me. Not sure if it does what it claims because I haven’t had time to try it out for long enough, got them later than expected due to COVID-19. #gotitfree #NeutrogenaBrightBoost

Didn't Stand Out

I was given this from ChickAdvisor for testing and reviewing purposes. This is my least favorite from the Bright Boost line.

My main problem lies in that it just seems to be a basic moisturizer. I'm very happy with the addition of the SPF protection, but I just don't get anything additional from it that makes it stand out skin-wise.

I love the tube with the skinny tip applicator and that it doesn't smell like sunscreen. I just don't really notice a lot of moisturization or brightening. It's light in formula and hydration on my dry skin, but might work better for me as warmer weather arrives.

My other problem lies within the price. I just think it is overpriced for the amount you get. In all, it's a good product, but not great. I expected more from the description given.

Not bad

I don't feel this lotion does anymore than most lotions. I feel like you can't use it on its own you need more products with it. I do like how it has SPF 30 so you don't have to worry about the sun. It is a good lotion for day to day.

Thank you chickadvisor for sending this for free in exchange for my honest review. I wanted to like this but I think it smelt a little to much like sunscreen which I don’t like the smell off, then a moisturizer unfortunately it didn’t make my skin feel soft or anything at all :( I

A variety of benefits but not for me.

This applies nicely, is lightweight, and it doesn't leave my skin looking too shiny even throughout the day, but I think I did breakout from this (my skin is picky when it comes to SPF). I haven't noticed too much of a difference in my skin tone just by using this, and I do not think this would be hydrating enough for the colder seasons. I like the idea of this moisturizer (with it being so multi-functional with SPF 30), but unfortunately, it is not for me. *I received this item for free for testing purposes.

Not my first choice

As a stand alone sunblock I wouldn't choose this over my usual sunblock, however as a Moisturizer I very much enjoy using this.

It smells great however it did leave my face feeling extremely greasy, so much so that I ended up washing it off as best I could

Not Too Special

I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor to review.

This product went on smooth with a light scent. However it pilled on my skin very quickly. I had to stop using it for this reason. I didnt like it had SPF but having balled up pieces all over my face was not worth it.

Too shiny

I like that this does not feel greasy, does not sting my eyes, and is a good size for travelling. I'm not a fan of the price and how this makes me look like a disco ball. The serum and gel cream have a nice sheen that isn't too much, but with this SPF I can see almost a cast-like streak.

30 SPF Brightening Moisturizer

I felt very fortunate to receive all four products in the Neutrogena Bright Boost product line free from ChickAdvisor and Neutrogena in exchange for my honest review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club #gotitfree

Although Bright Boost Moisturizer has a formula that easily absorbs into the skin and has the great benefit of having 30 SPF, I didn't find that it worked very well for my dull combination skin specifically. I didn't find that it adequately moisturized my skin, no matter how much of the product I used. In terms of value for money, the price point for this moisturizer is too high when considering the small size of the container. At drug stores it is priced the same as the gel cream but is only 30mL compared to the gel cream's 50mL which absorbs into the skin better, and even reduced in sale prices is still quite high.

Using the four products in the line altogether did make my skin smoother and brighter, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend the moisturizer specifically to those with combination skin such as myself.

Neutrogena Bright Boost SPF30

I received this item for free for testing from ChickAdvisor.

I am a sunscreen advocate, I wear sunscreen daily and love to find new ones that work for my skin.

Unfortunately, I found that this product was not the one for me. I will start off with saying, I love the packaging, the little squeeze bottle is perfect for travel. The texture of the fluid is watery and smooth, also there is no smell of sunscreen. However, the issue I have with this product is that it pills on my skin. Due to this, I would not be repurchasing because I have tried many other sunscreens that work great and do not pill off my skin and for at similar price points.
