Smells good

I gave a try for this neutrogena bright boost overnight recovery cream. It smells good and I like the scent. My super dry skin, I see a little improvement. Maybe i’ll give it a little more time using the product to see more improvement.

Skin reaction

Unfortunately after a week into using this product my face began to get intense flushing, a hot feeling, swelling and almost a broken capillary look to it. By the 5th day of using it nightly my face was bright red and very hot to the touch. After a week of discontinuing use my skin is now beginning to look normal again.

Better options out there

I received this product to try for free. Neutrogena’s Bright Boost overnight recovery gel cream claims to energize dull skin for visibly refreshed, brighter skin. The texture is the same as the Hydro Boost gel. It quickly sinks into the skin and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. The packaging is also the same as the Hydro Boost, but in red; it looks quite pretty sitting next to my sink. It has a light scent which I am indifferent about.

After 2 weeks of nightly application I did not notice much of a difference in the brightness of my skin. It doesn’t offer sufficient hydration, so I had to use a serum that contains hyaluronic acid underneath it.

While I do like Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line, I do not think this Bright Boost gel offers enough benefits for me to purchase this in the future. Other brightening serums on the market will give you a better glow.

Made my skin greasy and oily in morning

Hi all, so I received this product that I was stoked to try, and my first impressions it has a great fragrance which I was worried about due to sensitive skin. Luckily this didn’t bother me at all for that.
On the down side it states on the product that the cream gives a bright boost overnight recovery, and I noticed each morning I was waking up with my skin appearing like I smothered it in bacon grease before catching my Zzzs. I was rubbing it in my skin before bed, but when I would awake it appeared that it was just sitting on my skin. I don’t know if my skin was rejecting it or what, but after four days of use I had stopped putting it on as my skin appeared to be having a breakout in little pimples. I’m not sure if this was random coincidence in timing, or if there’s something in the formula that caused a reaction to my skin. I’m going to conclude by saying that I will be giving this product another fair shot, as I usually like to try products without any other products interfering. I had used another product less than a week prior, so I’m not sure it that could have interfered. I wanted to wait to do my review until then, but I need to submit it now. Like it, but don’t love it

I’m a huge fan of overnight creams and was initially excited to try this one based on the ingredients list.

It felt moisturizing without feeling heavy. (If you have dry skin, it might not be moisturizing enough for you.) In terms of brightening, it’s helped a little bit, but I haven’t seen any drastic results – this could be because I just haven’t been using it long enough.

It’s not fragrance-free, (which I prefer as I have sensitive skin), but it hasn’t irritated my skin so far. Given that it’s oil free and alcohol free I was surprised it’s not fragrance free also.

My skin was too sensitive for this

This great was very light and airy. However it irritated my sensitive skin. I love this brand however maybe not this specific one. The smell was also a little bit strong for a face cream. The texture was great, and it was silky smooth

Lovely scent

I have been using this product since i received it, but i have not noticed any changes on my skin. Smells good light skincare scent which i love it but lets see over the next weeks if it feels any diference on my skin.
But u like it, i might purchase it.

Beautiful packaging

I love the beautiful packaging, I love the silky smooth feeling it leaves the skin and how quickly it absorbs to protect you while sleeping for a morning glow however there is a strong scent and it does linger so I would not recommend to those who are sensitive to scent and it did give me breakout during the first week of use as well.

I was excited to try this product because I use the Bright Boost line and really love it.
The gel cream smelled lovely and was beautiful and shimmery.
I liked how my skin felt after use and could immediately see that my skin looked more bright and even toned, especially after using the Bright Boost Polish and Serum.
Overall 8/10!!

Immediate Difference!

It gently exfoliated my skin and left it looking hydrated and with an even looking tone - I'm very happy with how my skin looks after use. I only had to use two swipes of the product on my index finger to cover my face and neck.
