I was pretty happy with this product I guess, though I wish it had more staying power and lasted a little longer! It was easy to sweat off, which then unfortunately led to a sunburn on my cheeks the day I wore it.

I do like that it is easy to apply and absorbs pretty well.

I would recommend this product as a great face sunscreen. I have very sensitive skin, and sometimes some sunscreens can really irritate it. This one went on cleanly with out leaving me with that greasyness that most sunscreens do. Althouh it comes in a small bottle (I was a little surprised it was so small) it is still a great buy because you really only need a little to cover your face. It is also great under makeup - mine never looked smudgy or oily! The only thing i was not a fan of was the scent. Usually Neutrogena products have a fresh, clean scent ,but this one was a little chemically. I wouldnt say it was really horrible, I couldn't smell it for very long after I had applied it - but its not great either. As a sunscreen it was really good. Even if i was outside all day and had only put it on first thing in the morning, i noticed my skin never got burnt! Because it was a great sunscreen I would buy it and recommend it to others, but I think it really would be better if it had a better scent.

I was selected to review Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 45. The product is very light and goes on smoothly. I don't wear makeup every day but I'm sure this would be great under your makeup. It's not shiny or greasy. I'm not sure how much the sunscreen costs so I really can't say if it's a good value for the money. It's very lightly scented, which is nice. Alot of sunsceen is heavily scented and that bothers me if I have to wear it all day. It comes in a small container but you don't need very much. Just a small drop because it blends into your skin so nicely. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great for anyone with any skin type.

I got this product as part of the Product Review Club the day before I left for Tuscany, where there was to be nothing but sun! I love Neutrogena products and regularily use their Healthy Defense daily SPF 45 moisturizer (as recommended by my dermatologist). I have got to say that I prefer the moisturizer over the straight sunscreen. I switched back and forth between the two for my whole vacation (10 days) and they both did a great job as sunscreen, no burns or pinkness and I didn't reapply even after sweating and swimming. I didn't like how the straight sunscreen was runny or the applicator bottle because I felt that it wasn't controllable and I ended up not sure if I had gotten everywhere. I prefer the moisturizer because it is just thick enough and glides on smoothly, plus I have the added benefit of a moisturizer. If I wasn't using their other product, then this would be great. It does the job really well, isn't sticky or smelly and being that it is just for the face, a good value.

Just to jump right in, I'll start with the pros:
-The fact that this sunscreen has SPF 45 is amazing especially since I have such pale skin and burn extremely easily, it's great to know that my face is protected.
-The formula is light weight and non-greasy and is perfect to wear by itself, or to wear underneath foundation. I've never had any problems and it's great to find a product that allows you to do that.
-I like the fact that the product absorbs into my skin quickly.
-The texture of the product is smooth and glides over your skin easily.
-The smell of the sunscreen is great compared to most sunscreens.

Cons:
-I find that to cover your entire face/neck takes alot of product, and especially since you're getting so little product for your money, you're going to be buying this over and over and it can get expensive.
-I didn't find the waterproof aspect to be completely accurate.

I would also like to say that I was impressed by the expedited shipping and received this item just one day after receiving the email from Chickadvisor giving me the oppurtunity to review it. Thank you.

Overall I think that this sunscreen is great compared to the other ones I've tried. This is the only one that was light, smooth, and didn't feel like I had a thick layer of sunscreen on my face. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

Pros:

* absorbs within seconds into skin
* non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)
* very light texture, absolutely non-greasy
* a little goes a long way (you don't need a ton of product to cover your whole face)
* doesn't leave any white film/residues
* convenient dropper lets you use exactly the right quantity of product without making a mess like most sunscreens
* a metal ball inside the bottle helps mixing the product


Cons:

* expensive for such a tiny amount of product
* claims to be waterproof but it's absolutely not
* the consistency is a little too runny for me


What I think:

I think this is the first facial sunscreen I've ever used, and I must say it was quite a pleasant experience. I wouldn't have buy it by myself because I think that $15 for such a small bottle is really expensive, so I'm glad I've got to try it for free.

I like the fact that the texture is lighter than other sunscreens because most of them would feel heavy and greasy on my face. I was amazed at how fast the product is absorbed into my skin, which makes it a perfect makeup primer! The dropper dispenser is super convenient as the consistency of the product is quite runny.

What gets me worrying about most sunscreens is that they leave a white film on my skin, but not this one.

I tested this sunscreen mainly on the beach, and the results were quite positive: my face was a little red at the end of the day, but no sunburn!

One important thing, though: this product claims to be waterproof but, as I suspected, like most sunscreen, it is absolutely not. Don't be fooled, and always re-apply after swimming.

I received this product through the Product Review Club, and have been using it since I received it. I wish the bottle was bigger as I seem to reapply quite frequently. I do like the smell of the sunscreen, but I wish the consistancy was alittle thicker, I found it abit runny. I have been wearing it while on multple trips to the beach and found it to be effective, I was alittle red on my face, but never really sunburnt. Ocerall I would recommend this product but would like it more if the size was bigger and consistancy thicker.

Nothing works better as an anti-aging product than a good sunscreen. While most sunscreens feel greasy and play havoc with your skin colour, this product didn't. It went on light and non-greasy. The days I tested it were really humid, so my face looked very shiny and greasy, but that was less of a problem on a less humid day. It stayed on for hours under my makeup, but I imagine you'd need to re-apply it on an outdoorsy day. All in all, I'd say it's a winner!

Okay, I got this product sent to me from CA to review based on my profile matches to this product. I have quite oily skin, that after washing my face, I will have a shine within half an hour. Not very many products can minimize this problem, or do so without feeling heavy and like I am wearing layers under my makeup to combat this problem. After trying this now for many days in a row, I can gladly say I am in love with this product! It works amazingly well for my oily skin. Just as it is described, it does indeed feel lightweight. I cannot stress enough how well this works on my oily skin. From morning to the end of a work day, I'm no longer blotting my face to remove the shine! I love this stuff!

I have used countless different sunblocks for the face and body, and this new one from Neutrogena takes the cake - the name is appropriate - definitely a light-as-water texture to the sunscreen, and amazingly non-oily at all.
Great as a makeup base, and absorbs relatively quickly.

After hours of wearing it, no oily residue is formed, and skin feels comfortable. Not drying nor greasy.

I am still in search of the perfect physical (non-chemical) sunblock, but as far as chemical sunscreen products go, this one is #1.

Great price, excellent portability/size, amazingly light-weight texture and effectiveness.
