Terrible feel..

This made my hair feel so gritty and dirty… not clean at all. There was zero lather and the smell was so strong. This made my hair feel like straw to be honest. Would not recommend

I was excited to try the OGX® Bond Protein Repair shampoo - but was left wanting more. The consistency was nice, and the scent was nice but it left my hair oily which ended up with dandruff bits in my hair.

Let me start with some context: I have bleached hair so their texture is extremely porous and dry. Therefore I am very picky with my haircare routine 😬. The collection is meant to be repairing and strengthening 💪🏻 
 
This trio did not work for me BUT I can see this type of treatment working for less damaged hair. I will review them out of 10 🤓 
 
🧴OGX® Bond Protein Repair Shampoo : 5/10  
I could feel that it was stripping moisture from my hair instead but it did a good job of cleaning 🤔 
 
🧴OGX® Bond Protein Repair Conditioner : 8/10 
It felt very hydrating and nourishing without being heavy. I think it was my favourite out of the trio ♥️ 
 
🧴OGX® Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum : 6,5/10 ~ Texture was very interesting. I was a gel that melted in my hands. It spread nicely but unfortunately it was not the right product for my current hair. Not enough hydratation 🥲

Unfortunately not for me

A little background on my hair type; it’s short, chin length virgin hair. I don’t use styling products, just leave in conditioner or hair oil.

My biggest problem with this shampoo was the lather felt flat. I do understand it’s a creamy lather and sulfate free but I have been using sulfate free shampoo for many years and none fall short as this. It didn’t clean my hair well or at least not to my satisfaction. I train martial arts 4 times a week so I wash my hair almost every day andI have to use twice as much with this shampoo. Often I have to wash my hair twice to feel clean.

Sorry OGX, I loved your other range but this was a dud.
