I purchased the matte palette and I love the blend ability of these shadows! They are not chalky like some mattes can often be, they are a little bit powdery but nothing bad. Theres such versatility in this palette for every day looks as well as a smoky eye look too, easy to use some of the browns to fill in my brows as well. I really prefer using these with an eyeshadow primer as the colour stands out more and lasts all day.

This is a great matte eye shadow palette from the drugstore. Although some of the colours are very similar in the palette, it has all the colours I need. from warm browns to cool one's and some darker one's I use as liners.

It's an expensive palette at upwards of $25 but it is a dupe for the urban decay naked2 palette which is over $50. The Sonia Kashuk palette is very pigmented and you can choose between a shimmery or matte palette.
