This book rocks. We have a well behaved Rotti and he were having an issue with him marking spots after we moved. This book helped us rid him of this behavior quick time.

This book is an absolute must if you're thinking about getting a puppy in the future!
I recommend reading this before you ever adopt one so that you'll be prepared.
It's meant for puppy owners, not adult dogs although some of the techniques and guidelines it gives would help with any dog owner.

It's not a book that focuses on teaching your dog tricks. It's about understanding your puppy. And how once you understand your puppy, you will be able to train him/her with ease.

It's based on Cesar's own detailed experiences raising individual puppies from various breeds. And is written in a very friendly, accessible style. It's like having the Dog Whisperer right beside you helping you and your dog from the first day of your life together.

How to Raise the Perfect Dog answers all the most commonly asked questions such as what you should expect, tips on quick and easy house-training, proper nutrition for your dog, details on vaccinating, teaching your puppy boundaries, how to avoid mistakes, and teaching calm-assertive leadership.

It's important that we take ownership and teach ourselves about dog care before we blame them when they make mistakes. We're the pack-leader, so take charge and be the pack-leader! :)

It also helps you pick the perfect breed for YOU. This is so important. Don't just get a puppy because he's cute. It's important that you and your dog are a good match!

This book helps you begin a loving and satisfying life-long relationship with your pup ;)
It sure helped me in training my shih tzu. We have a great relationship and he is most definitely the 'perfect dog' in my eyes :)
Thanks Cesar! :)
