I loved this series so much. It was such a fun, exciting and unique read. So different then the average book. I loved the historical facts all tangled up in an amazing story. I have to be honest the last couple books of the series have not been as exciting as the first 4. I couldn't put the early books down.

I really really enjoyed this series and love the chemistry between Claire and Jamie. My only complaint about this story is that as the books got on in the series their was a little too much description and not enough plot...I enjoy description of the setting...characters etc...just not pages and pages of it. Overall great series to read and cant wait to watch the TV series on it

This is a series of fantasy/adventure books that has been turned into a TV series. The TV show does follow the bookline pretty closely so if you like the show, read the books too. I've only read the first and I'm definitely going to start reading the second book soon. It's about an English woman who travels back in time to Scotland and she's got a man for each era. To enjoy the book you have to be prepared to disregard the stupid parts where there are obvious easier solutions to problems that aren't taken, kind of embarrassing choices of writing, and the inevitable Whoa-Is-Me-Female Bad-Choice-Making heroine character. The reason to read it is the Scottish hunk and his love scenes (again disregard unbelievable and awkward fact about his experience despite his age and the time period he lives in... ugh). It's a good getaway series that I'm going to continue reading.
