Pur Minerals Foundation

Pur Minerals Foundation allows my skin to breathe and doesn't feel like I'm wearing make-up. The colour selection is so amazing it blends right in with my skin; leaving my skin looking flawless. The biggest compliment a woman can have is when people think she's in her bare skin! With this foundation you achieve that look. While getting the coverage that you desire, you're not leaving your face feeling heavy with make-up. I cannot do without this product! By far it is my favourite foundation on the market!

I love this 4 in 1 pressed mineral foundation!!!! It is the best. It feels like nothing is on my face and gives me complete and total coverage in a fast time. I don't leave my house without it and keep a 2nd in my purse at all times.

I was using Bare Minerals foundation and ran out and I don't live near a Sephora, so the same girl at Shoppers told me this is exactly the same thing, only better. I only bought the foundation (not the brush, even though she was really pushing me to buy the brush..that was really expensive). I new after the first time using it it wasn't working for me. I didn't provide any coverage for my acne and redness, it went on chalky, and it was drying. Plus, it faded away by mid day. Never buying again.

I was super excited about trying this, but it didn't work for me. :(

The way the powder went on was great, it felt great on my skin, didn't make it flake or irritate it, but it was the wrong shade. The foundation is great, don't get me wrong. It seems like it gives great coverage (I had the starter kit) and it felt fantastic, went on like velvet and felt like skin!

I just wish Pur would make different tones. I have pink undertones, not yellow, and that's why it didn't work for me. It was pricey, great quality, but for me, it just wasn't effective at all. I gave it such a high rating because if it was my colour, I'd definitely buy it, but until then, I can't wear it. :(

But it was really good. Just if you have pinkier undertones opposed to yellow, it's probably not for you!

I started using this 2 years ago when the whole mineral makeup thing exploded...I chose to use Pur Minerals over other mineral makeups because it was matte, the colours were yellow enough to be believable and it wasn't messy. I still end up back to it. It does a great job of covering imperfections because of the way the brush distributes the product on your face. It blends and sits well and lasts all day for me, a big deal for me because I have oily, acne-prone skin that scars easily and product usually disappears quickly from my face. It is a bit pricey, and I do find that I have to buy a new compact every 6 weeks but it's a great product. Love the SPF too.

I bought the Pur Minerals in Light at Shoppers Drug Mart. I really like this foundation. I am not an expert in putting on makeup but this is really easy to do and only takes a very minutes. It looks very natural on my skin and covers most impurities and stays on most the day. In my opinion it costs a lot but it has lasted me a while now. It didn't make my skin dry. Overall it is a very good foundation and the whole line has products that I can use.

I purchased a Pur Minerals starter kit at Shoppers Drug Mart in Porcelain. The price for the kit was slightly expensive in my opinion ($34 tax), however, this product has a lot of positive qualities:

1 - Foundation powder provides excellent coverage. I would definitely recommend shaking off your brush, however, before you apply the product so that your face does not look too powdered.
2 - Blush and bronzing powder add a nice warmth to the face.
3 - The brush in the kit is a nice, dense brush that provides an even, concentrated application.
4 - Best of all, no yucky/damaging chemicals.

Great product! This foundation is great - very lightweight and the coverage is impressive. This foundation makes my face look flawless! I was actually pleasantly surprised that I did not need a separate concealer for the dark circles under my eyes. I prefer to apply with a utility brush instead of the foam pad that is provided... it blends much easier and the coverage looks more natural. This is a little more expensive that your drug store foundations, but worth every penny!
