Sugar Moon - Toronto

Had a great experience at Sugar Moon. Very clean, staff are all friendly.
Body sugaring overall was less painful. Will be back for sure

I am very sensitive to any form of hair removal, especially waxing and threading. This was my first trial at sugaring and I must admit that I do not exactly "love" it. The place itself was quite modern and clean-looking. The employers seemed like nice people however the person I received did not take as much care removing the hair. Many times I had to continually ask her to remove spots from my arms and face that she had missed. I am picky though so please take that in to mind. She did not complain but it wasn't necessary to use the same small ball of "sugaring paste" for both my face and my arms (midway it wouldn't even remove hair properly yet she still did not get a new ball). I had to ask her if she wouldn't mind using a new piece.

The sugaring method used here still resulted in ingrown hairs and bright red acne on my face (this had never occurred with waxing) but that probably is a result of an allergic reaction. Overall the ambiance was great, the price was average, and the service was moderate. Not the best or worst place.

I've been going here for a few years now and really love it. Sugaring is so much better than waxing. It hurts less, doesn't irritate my skin and the more often you do it the less the hair comes back. The Salon has a nice atmosphere and the women are super nice!

Fully body sugaring at Sugar Moon. It felt amazing! Not as painful as waxing because the hair is pulled out in the directin of growth, not against it. I didn't really think it was that different until I tried it. No red bumps after, much less painful and the women in the salon were wonderful!
