Salon Crave - Mississauga

I recently went to Salon Crave after reading many reviews. I went to see Dino for my color and cut. He was great. I have never been happier! I have been using Chick Advisor for a while for tips with make up hair etc and have trusted their reviews. Though this is my first. I decided to go see Dino even after a recently poor review. I am glad I did. I guess you can't please us all. Ladies this place is great! My friend also came with me and was also very happy. The only negative thing I can say is that it took me 3 weeks to book a Saturday appointment and that was because he had a cancellation. He does knows his stuff! He took enough time to consult with me and we came up with a plan. Witch is something I suggest. Tell the receptionist to book a little extra time if your not sure what you want. This way time is not an issue.

It was about a month ago I reviewed this website and decided to check out Salon Crave based on all the positive comments I had read. As suggested, I booked an appointment with the talented Dino everyone had been raving about. I have never been so upset over a hair cut in my entire life! Here goes my rant - To start, he didn't bother applying any oil based product on my forehead etc. before applying the color. I walked out of that place looking like some child had been playing arts and crafts all along, what was once, my hair line. It is quite obvious he is not very confident styling womens hair as it was still damp when he started to iron my hair flat to my head. But all of this could have been ignored, really, if the hair cut had been half decent; but surprise surprise my hair is so butchered now that after 10 years of having long hair, I will have to chop it off and wait for it to grow back. My advice...make sure the comments you are reviewing are not some long time clients that just can't get enough of the same thing, or even better, the hair dressers bestest buddies giving the poor guy a helping hand. Following the reviews on this site, I went in and had a haircut with Sandra. She was great: really listened, cut well, and gave me styling tips. I have thick, wavy hair that isn't easy to cut. Sandra recommended a style that would work with my hair's natural tendencies and I was really pleased with the results. As others have noted, the staff didn't try to sell me high-priced styling products. I highly recommend this salon!

Great service and talent! I went to see Jerry to get my hair coloured red, and I got a fantastic red. I can't believe it! They really care about what they create here. If you happen to be in Mississauga, you are missing out on a gem of a salon here! Highly recommended.

This place is great! In times like these its great to get great work with a fair price! That's why I think Dino is always so busy. Went to Jerry last time and was also pleased.

Ladies, this place is a must! I came here based on the reviews of literally everyone who left saying that they had a great experience. I'm so glad I did! I got my haircut by Dino, who like everyone says is very down to earth, honest and helpful with questions you ask.

I have very long hair that would usually cost me maybe $80 to cut my hair in another frou frou salon, yet the price was still only $40. I also like my hair long since if it's even just a little too short, I look like a 16 year old (I'm 20). I usually find myself somewhat pressured by other stylists to cut my hair shorter than I ask for. I always say no, and they *usually* listen. Dino was nothing like that. I voiced my concern about it, and he complied and didn't pressure me about it at all. I didn't even feel nervous while he was cutting my hair because of this. In the end, my hair had more shape and gorgeous long layers, with a few face framing ones, and I'm SOOO glad I went :D

Honestly, I even joined this website JUST to review this salon. It's amazing! You definitely don't leave disappointed.

I also went to Salon Crave today, after reading the reviews on this site. I was not disapponted. I had an appointment with Dino, who was great. Very nice guy, down to earth, honest with his opinions. He listened to what I said, gave me his advice, and I got a fantastic haircut. I have very thick curly hair, and I find it hard to find stylists who can work with my hair. I was very pleased, and the kicker was the price - $40. I'm used to paying a lot more for a lot less service. When it came time to pay, he swiped my VISA card and filled out the total for me, however when I told him that I had wanted to add a tip to the total (I had no cash on me), he wouldn't hear about it, and told me to worry about it the next time. I protested but he wouldn't listen. I felt so bad - he was so nice. I will definitely be going back, and I HIGHLY recommend this place. They all seem like really nice people.

Started going to this Salon Crave after readind reviews. It's great! I have been there a few times and must say I do enjoy it. I first went to Dino but he's always so busy. I have been to Jerry and Sandra and they both are great. Even upon my return Dino still takes the time to say Hello. You never feel bad to try someone else.
