Good product, but just not for me

Over the last year, I’ve been really trying to replace many of my beauty and hygiene products with more natural items. Deodorant is one of the things that I am still searching for.

The scent of this deodorant was AMAZING. It’s probably the best smelling deodorant I have ever used. Packaging was fantastic and that it was cardboard and no plastic was used. I also really appreciated how much product there was.

Why didn’t this product work for me? Well, for one, I have a personal preference towards very solid, more powdery deodorants. This goes on wet and takes a little while to dry on the skin. Also, I sweat quite a bit and I found that this particular deodorant didn’t last very long, and I had to reapply twice a day.

Great smelling! Just not great for sweat

Amazing smelling deodorant, probably the best smelling one I've ever had. I unfortunately sweat a lot and need to use clinical antiperspirant, but I let my sister who doesn't have a sweat problem use it and she says it's great and wound definitely buy again.

Smells lovely!

I received this product free to test and it smells amazing! It smells like fresh oranges and it provides great protection from odor and sweat. The only thing I don't like so much is that is goes on quite thick and it leaves residue.

Not my favorite

I love the idea of an all natural deordant but this did not work well for me. It smells lovely though! It didn't roll on well, nor did it keep my armpits dry.

Did not work for me

I really loved the idea of this deodorant. The smell was a light orange scent which was pleasant and I really loved the no plastic packaging but it just did not work for me. I could smell body odour within less than 2 hrs. I thought maybe my body needed time to adjust but I couldn’t use it more than 3 times because it just wasn’t working.

Orange scent smells great

I really enjoyed the scent of the product and that it is eco-friendly. However I found the deodorant to be quite grainy when I applied it. Even with rubbing it into my underarms i felt that it was grainy and not applying with a smooth finish.

Not my go to

The smell is really nice, light orange scent. It goes on smoothly but it ended up getting flakes and made marks all under my armpits which wasn't a nice sight. It's definitely not my go to deodorant.

Takes a while to adjust

First impressions: beautiful packaging and lovely orange citrus scent.

I would think people need to ensure to keep the product in a dry cool place. I could see the paper packaging getting easily deformed if it comes into contact with moisture.
To use the product, you put up the centre of the cylinder from the bottom like a push pop. It's quite solid, like the texture of a bar of soap, so you have to rub it around against your skin to warm it up for a bit. Due to the push pop nature, the edges of the cylinder of deodorant bunches up into a lip and the product comes off into chunks.
The application feels a little dry and chalky.
You also can't apply with a lot of effort or you'll push the product back down into the cylinder.

Smells great

At first the smell is great, but it does go away within an hour. I love that it’s natural, the texture is very gritty and sticky which is the downside and it leaves white marks on clothes. I don’t think it lasts very long throughout the day either. It’s okay, but so far I’ve seen better.

Not my favourite

The product felt good on application although I didn’t like how it left my clothes smelling. The scent is nice on first sniff but doesn’t smell nice through out the day.
