This was my least favourite of the three Brookside bars I tasted. I have never been a fan of cherries with chocolate, although this was the closest any product has come to changing my mind. The rich dark chocolate was not overwhelmed by the cherries which did not have that cloying sugary taste that so many other products have, and the crisp broke up the soft texture delectably. Another winner from Brookside.

I loved the packaging for this chocolate tablet bar. I thought the outer cardboard wrapping was cute how it unfolded. I also liked how the foil was a pink hue to match with the Cherry flavor. The chocolate bar itself is nicely divided so you can have several squares, a regular square or even a small square. Great for sharing!
I thought that both the cherry and pomegranate flavours did not overpower the chocolate and was a great balance, letting you taste each flavour individually.

Overall this chocolate bar was great. It was smooth and melted well on my tongue. I would purchase this in the future and recommend to my family and friends.

When I received this I thought it would be just another chocolate bar but it exceeded all expectations! It was like a flavour explosion in my mouth with a mixture of unique tastes and textures. It was something I have never tasted before in a chocolate bar and made me wanting to come back for more! I loved the bit of sour mixed in with sweet.

I absolutely loved this product. It was a great flavour combination even with it being a little tart. My husband loved this chocolate bar because it was tart. My chocolate craving was very satisfied. I will definitely purchase this product when it goes on sale. I found the flavour to be very unique compared to other chocolate bars currently on the market. It is definitely a higher quality product. I will be telling all of my friends about this. I liked the fact that every bite had the unique flavour combination, you weren't searching for anything. Great idea to use these flavours and hope to experience more like it. The flavours are very unique, unlike any other chocolate i've had before!

dark chocolate mixed with the tart cherry and pomegranate is a wonderful combination. Tastes wonderful and satisfies your craving for something sweet but not overpowering. Sophisticated flavours for every agar groups chocolate needs. I will definitely buy this bar in the future as a treat for myself and I might even share with family and friends or not....try it for yourself you won't regret it.

I normally don't choose cherry products but I was quite surprised it wasn't so bad and I actually liked it. I think because it also had pomegranate flavour it balanced the cherry taste. I quite enjoyed the crispy crunch of the crisp and the dark chocolate together.

Let me start out by saying that I am a huge chocolate lover, and while dark chocolate is not necessarily my favourite I think that I have fallen in love with dark chocolate. The dark chocolate in this bar is wonderful, not too bitter and slightly more sweet than I'm used to. The pomegranate and cherry flavours definitely come through but I sort of expected more tartness as they are both quite tart fruits. I loved the rice crisps as it added some texture to the chocolate bar. Quite a complex flavour and not used to seeing both fruits of Cherry and Pomegranate in chocolate. I would highly recommend this to my friends and will buying some as give-away around the holiday season.

I received this product to try for the Chick Review Club. I enjoyed the flavor of this bar a lot. I liked the chewy cherry pieces and the crisp rice pieces. I found the pomegranate flavoring a bit overpowering, and I couldn't taste much of the chocolate. I love the design of these bars and would consider bringing them to a party to put out on display as they look so nice, but the chocolate is waxy and you can't even taste it. While I enjoy the flavor of this bar, I would also like to have a stronger taste of chocolate to balance out the sweetness.

When the Brookside Bars arrived I couldn't wait to try one, I love dark chocolate on its own, with my coffee or red wine as long as its not bitter. What I noticed first was the packaging its quite attractive and in 2 parts. A sealed card board outer box and a foil type inside pouch so the chocolate remains fresh,it really gives them that extra special feel. With the first bite the cherry/pomegranate could be fully experienced,the crunch of the crisps was tasty and pleasant. It ended up being my favorite bar of the 3 I tried. No bitterness I allowed it to melt in my mouth to get the full experience and it was very good!. My only preference would be that the cherry flavor wasn't fully infused into the chocolate, I enjoy the experience of each individual flavor ,. brought together not merged but that didn't stop me from finishing it! Skillfully done Brookside! The Brookside Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate works nicely with my wine, coffee,tea and would be perfect to put out for guests.The pieces break apart in a couple different sizes and are attractive. A hit with the family ,I would buy it again and keep one in my purse and recommend it to friends. In my opinion far exceeds similar bars around the same price.
