This lip balm doesn't only sit on the top of your lips like most products. It really gets deep down and moisturizes your lips for all day softness. That being said there is a "waxy" layer on the top of your lips as well for further protection - in a good way. This is one of my go-to lip balms when my lips are chapped, especially when it's due to cold weather.

The smell/taste is amazing. It goes on smoothly. However, I find it does not last long and I need to reapply it often.

I love this product. It is the only lip balm I use. It keeps your lips smooth and moist. I find other lip balms actually make my lips seem dryer but Burt's relieves my lips if they are chapped or dry. They also come in tints for us women who just need that little bit of color. This product is great for everyday use and it really helps when your lips are dry.
