The peppermint tingle is either the best part or a dealbreaker, there's no middle ground. I like it. It feels like the balm is doing something, even though what it's doing is mostly just menthol theatre. Actual moisturizing is decent but not miraculous — I still reapply constantly, and I've read the arguments that peppermint balms make you dependent on them, which honestly tracks. Cheap, everywhere, the tube lasts months. The tin version is worse; you dip a finger in and then have waxy finger for twenty minutes. Get the yellow tube.

Great for dry lips!

I finally tried Burt’s Bees lip balm and I get the hype now. It’s super moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy, and it actually lasts longer than most chapsticks I’ve used. The peppermint gives a nice cooling sensation (not overpowering), which makes your lips feel instantly refreshed.

I also love that it’s made with natural ingredients—no weird taste or waxy buildup. My lips stay soft even hours after applying, which is rare for me, especially in dry weather.

Only downside? If you prefer something super glossy or thick, this is more of a lightweight, natural finish.

Overall: simple, effective, and definitely a staple in my bag now.
