Soap is soap...it's not a moisturizer. Whipping it up, adding lotions, putting in overwhelming scents and hyping it won't make it anything different. Soap is meant to remove dirt. It's basically lye, mixed with fat and water. It will remove your natural body oils when you use it...and dirt. Then, you need to moisturize.

I do not like Dove soap, and never have. It always leaves my skin feeling sticky because I can't wash all the soap off.

Although Dove promises softer skin, especially for those with dry and sensitive skin, I found I needed just as much moisturizer as with other soaps, although I did appreciate the very light, delicate scent, I prefer to smell like me not some soap manufacturers idea of what I should smell like.

I prefer using body was personally but i felt that the dove bar didn't clean as well as others. it may feel soft on the skin but with oily skin it left it less clean then preferred

I love the smell, nut find my face feels tight after using it, It leaves a big mess in soap dish!

I use to love this. It was all I used. I don't know if they changed the formula or not but I found that it dried my skin so bad that I was using body creams more and more. Sorry but I've switched.

me and my son have eczema and we used dove for a long but it started to drying our skin out.

I like the smell of their original soap and wanted to love it after all the publicity seen for their products. I find that it dries my skin probably more than other soaps though

I really lke the smell of their pink soap. As store bought soaps go its pretty good prob the best. However recently I started using homemade real soap as I learned store bought are really detergents...
