While I try to use products that have no scent, I found the scent of the Dove bar pleasing to the nose. It was not very strong. I loved the lather and the way it made my skin feel after a shower. I would reccommend this product to my family and friends.

I did find a small amount of drying residue left but nothing that an extra little rinse couldnt help and I didnt mind doing so as overall it was a great Bar !!!!

Dove Cream Bar makes my skin very smooth and moist after washing. Besides, I like this classy scent and its logo...would love to recommend it to my friends!

I am a huge body wash user as I always thought bar soap would dry out my skin and already having dry skin I was fearful to try any bar soap. I was given the chance to try and review the Dove Beauty Bar and I can honestly say it has changed my mind on bar soap, well at least with this brand/kind.

I was pleasantly surprised that it cleaned my skin, lathered nicely, left my skin soft with no residue and did not dry out my skin. I actually wanted to see how well my skin would hold up using the bar soap so for a week I just used the bar soap and did not lotion after my showers. After a week of using the Dove Beauty Bar I have no dry patches and still have not pulled out the lotion.

The only downfall of this product was the scent. It was not my favourite but other then the scent I love this bar soap and will be putting it on my shopping list from now on.

I recommend body wash lovers give this soap a chance, it does the job without leaving residue or drying out your skin like many bar soaps do!

I received the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bars free as part of the ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. My first impression of the bar is that it has a really great clean scent. It feels really moisturizing as I'm applying it to my skin and it does feel like it has moisturized my skin after my shower. The only "complaint" I have is that it kind of feels like it doesn't wash clean off my skin. I guess this is the moisturizing part and should be good that it doesn't strip the skin of moisture. I think its just a personal preference that I feel all the product residues have been rinsed off. I don't really mind it as I just run my exfoliating washcloth over my skin a few more times under the running water. I don't think I will completely replace my current bar soap with the Dove bar, but I think I will use it every other time. I would definately recomment it to my friends who say that bar soaps always drys out their skin. I think they would be pleasantly surprised with this product.

The smell of the bar is a little strong. I can sometimes get headaches from strong fragrances.
However it lathers great and left my skin feeling soft instead of dry like most soaps.

I really loved the way it made my skin feel. The soap itself had a very nice lather which was creamy and make my skin soft instantly!

I have used Dove before but has been a long time. I am always a little hesitant to try new soap, because I have such sensitive skin. Most soaps can tend to make me really itchy and grumpy. After my first use of the bar, my skin did feel a little tight and itchy, but I think that may have been because I generously lathered, and perhaps didn't rinse well enough. I do really like the smell, it is clean and fresh and makes my whole bathroom smell nice. My husband has also been using it, and hasn't had any complaints. He says he like how soft it is on his skin. I think if there were a bar that had a more earthy unisex type smell, it would be a major hit, this is one factor that will keep me buying my much loved Lush soap. However, I think I will keep a bar on hand for a fresh smelling switch up. Overall, the soap was fairly nice. It didn't dry out my skin at all, and once I found my proper lather ratio, I was pretty happy. I would recommend this soap to my friends and family.

Used the dove bar soap for the first time. It is very moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I currently use St.Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter Body Wash, which is also very hydrating; however, when it comes to a bar soap would surely not pick any other brand other than Dove. I had also used it on a camping trip and found it milk enough to use even on my face, when I did not have my face wash on hand at the time. I have recommended it to my friends, and would surely recommend others to give it a try! :)

I received Dove's Beauty Bar as part of Chick Advisor's product review club. I was pleasantly surprised when I used the Dove Beauty Bar. Unlike most bar soaps I have used in the past, Dove did not leave my skin feeling tight, nor did it leave a grey residue. The bar was amazing and at the right price point, I would definitely purchase this product.

My only concern is that I suffer from mild Eczema and was leery about using this product on my face. The bar did leave my face feeling clean, however, my forehead broke out in a fine rash. I am not sure what effect - if any it had with my Eczema.

Overall, an excellent product.
