I received Dove's Beauty Bar as part of CA's product review club. Normally, I'm one of those tree-hugging hippie types that uses all natural soaps from, say, the Big Carrot, but I wanted to do my due diligence and test out the soap since I was given it for free!

So, I can say that it works very well for what it is--your skins feels very clean and almost moisturized after you use it (though I still had to apply moisturizer after having a shower/bath as I normally do). That being said, I'm not crazy about the smell. I've never been a fan of the Dove smells (very synthetic and perfume-y) and I find that all of their soaps have the same sort of underlying scent, which I'm just not crazy about.

Dove is certainly not the worst soap in the world, but would I buy it myself or recommend it to others? Not really. I'll stick to my natural soaps which work just as well and aren't filled with synthetic chemicals and odd perfume-y scents :)

Can someone say smooth skin? Cause I can! I no longer come out of the shower feeling like a crinkled leather sofa. It's so soft that I can't help rubbing my arm after I put my clothes on. Now this is coming from someone who does not like to use soap bars and prefer shower gels.

I would definitely be buying this cream bar again and will be sure to get my friends on the Dove soap train.

I love this product i have very sensitive skin and I can use this product the smell was wonderful. You didnt even have to unwrap it to how wonderful the smell was. I used it on my kids and they even commented on how nice the smell is. The price is average but its not expensive i would for sure by this because i have had such a hard time to buy products that gives me a rash.

Everyone should give the dove beauty bar a try, it cleans and puts back moisture into your skin. With the great scent, it also gives your bathroom a nice smell. Thanks Dove .Not a bad price too..

The smell is very classic and you immediately know the scent of Dove bar soap. I like to use this for washing my hands to keep them moisturized, cuts down on having to use lotions. It's also very nice for shaving, gives a good lather. It tends to disappear very fast because of its richness.

I don't think I've ever used a Dove product that I didn't like. Bar soap is generally not my thing, so I probably would not purchase this, but I will definitely continue to use the sample.

It leaves my skin soft, and smooth, and it never feels tight. I love the smell. That's probably my favorite part.

First off, thank you for the opportunity to review Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar.
I'm personally a body wash user, as is most of my household, but everyone seems sold on the Dove soap and have asked me to buy more. We all love the smell the best. My personal experience was nice while in the shower; no residue, lovely smell, slight lather and rinsed clean. However, I did notice my skin was a bit sensitive and did have a reaction to the soap on all occasions I tried it, I was the only one who did though.
My husband especially loves it after a long day at work. He said even his body washes doesn't give him the same clean and fresh feeling as the Dove bar soap did. Although it wasn't the best for me, It seems to have won him over.

I love this Dove soap bar. It's creamy and moisturizing to the body. Me and mother have been using this soap for many years.

I recieved a free Dove beauty bar to try and review from Chick Adivsors. I found the scent of the bar over powering (I could smell it through the envelope I received it in, even though it was also in a box inside the envelope). I liked the moisturizing feel of the bar, and my hands and face did feel softer after use, but the scent is just too strong for it to replace my current soap.

Love this product! It works well and lasts a long time. It also good for both men and women!
