I am a fan of Dove products, so when I first got this Beauty Cream Bar, I was very excited to test it out,
The beauty bar works really well with my skin, it leaves it soft, smooth and feeling fresh.
I will definately add this to my shopping list!

I received the Dove Beauty Bar as part of the ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club.

I have used this product in the past, but not recently until now. I used it in the shower the other day and was quite pleased with the results. It lathered very well and did a good job of cleaning my skin. My skin felt very smooth and moistured afterward, no "squeaky clean" feeling (which I hate!) The one downside for me was the scent, or lack thereof. I like for my soap to have a clean/fresh smell, but this had no scent at all. I don't have a regular soap product as I like to try out different things all the time, but this is a good, basic soap to have on hand. I will likely purchase it again in the future and would especially love to try out different scents!

I received the Dove Beauty Bar as part of the Product Review Club. I have been using Dove's Body Wash and hadn't used the bar in a couple years. The first thing I noticed about the beauty bar was the fragrance. I found the smell to be really overwhelming and way too strong. If I were to buy this product for myself, I'd buy the unscented version. I used it on my face and didn't find it as effective at removing my makeup as my regular face wash. It had trouble removing my non-waterproof mascara effectively. I also found it a bit heavy for my face. I have slightly oily skin, and the moisturizing cream in the bar was just too much for my face to handle.

As a body soap it was fine. It rinses clean and doesn't leave my skin sticky or too slick.

I would recommend this to a friend, but not as a face wash. I think I'll stick to the body wash though.

I received two bars free to test as part of ChickAdvisor’s Product Review Club.The smell is a little strong, but nice :) I found the bar soap effective and non drying. I perfer bodywashes to bar soaps. I appreciated getting a chance to try this and will recommend it to anyone who uses bar soaps. :)

I received two bars courtesy of Chick-Advisor. I don't like the smell. It is too strong smelling for me. I normally use Dove soap (moisturising cream) but I use either the sensitive skin one or the go fresh. I like the smell of the go fresh one but as mentioned, not the original beauty bar one. I love the other two but it is hard to compare effectiveness in such a short time with the other ones from Dove I have used but the Dove products seem to be effective. The Dove moisturizing creams would however be my first choice. I would recommend this product.

I love the way the soap feels on your skin. It make my skin feel soooo soft.

We have hard water and it often leaves our skin feeling dry! In the past we have typically used no name soap as it is inexpensive and we go through lots as a family of five! I was hesitant to try this product as the price tag is often higher than the soaps I buy. With that said the way it left our skin feeling so soft and moisturizer was far better than our regular soap. I also like the scent it wasn't too powerful and was pleasent. I would certainly buy this again though I would likely wait for a sale! ;)

I love that I was chosen to reviev the Dove beauty bar, it is my favorite. I love the smooth feeling that my skin has after I shower. My skin feel moisturizer not just washed. Thanks Chickadvisor

I was one of the lucky ones chosen to review the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar and am I ever glad I was chosen. I only every used body washes and ocasionally the fiances irish spring when I was in a pinch. I always found bar soap very drying and almost a sticky feeling left on my skin.

This was sure not the case for the Dove bar. I loved it. It never left my skin dry or sticky. It made my skin soft and smooth, just as it would be if I used a body wash. I even tried it on my face and was very impressed with the results.

I was not crazy about the original scent but there are many other varietys to choose from. I noticed the bar was very soft and seemed to not last very long because of the constant moisture in the shower. I'm not sure if I will replace my body wash with it but as far as bar soaps go its top notch!

I'm currently using this soap. I used to use it as a kid - it was the only kind my parents bought and then when I moved out I started using olay. I only bought it again as my play was not in stock when I was in need. It's good soap - cleans the skin without leaving residue and doesn't dry you out, but I still think I like okay better.
