I was thrilled to be able to review this product. I have used Dove Beauty bar, but it had been quite a few years. I started using it again straight away. It was great in the bath, lathered up beautifully and the scent was amazing! Feminine and very clean smelling. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This product did not leave a residue as promised. My skin felt very clean and soft. I was only able to use it on my body and not my face. I have very sensitive skin. From the perfume alone I would get a rash. Overall I would say that it is a very good bar. I will be changing from my regular soap and certainly would recommend it.

After using this soap may times now, there are somethings I liked and didn't like about this product. What I liked most about this product is it lathers really well and I also like using it to wash m face in the morning since its really gentle. The only thing I don't like about this product is, I find it to be a little strong and the scent of this soap is not my favorite. To be honest the scent kind of throws me off. Would I switch to this bar? Probably not. But on the other hand if you need something that will do the job of making you feel squeaky clean and don't want to spend a lot, then yes I recommend this product to you.

I received the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar from ChickAdvisor to try for free. I had used Dove in the past but switched to another brand a few years ago. Happy that I tried it again. It was soft on my skin and I liked the scent. Did not leave soap residue after rinsing which a lot of soaps do. I think I will continue to use Dove in the meantime.

I got the Dove Beauty Bar from the Product Review Club. I've used the Dove Beauty bar for a while but then I switched to using body wash since it was easier to use, but I was excited to use this again! It lathers up really well, and I like that the scent is very familiar and relatively neutral (it's hard to find scents that don't scream flowers or whatever anymore). It made my skin feel very smooth afterward, but since it's bar soap (okay, yeah, without the "soap"), you still need to apply body lotion, which I didn't always have to do with my moisturizing body wash.

I`ve been a Dove user for a long time. I love that my skin is not all dry and stretchy after shower but i dont like the fact that it gets all soggy...half the bar was wasted coz it gets wet and all diluted..but all in all i love it !!!

Overall this soap moisturized my skin and did not leave any residue whatsoever, on this basis, I would recommend it. However, the scent was much too strong and I ended up queasy from it. Not such a good way to start my day! I use the Shea Butter scented Dove Nourishing Bar on a regular basis, and I will not be switching to this one.

This is my first product review on Chick advisor and I'm excited!

First of all, i like the smell of it - it's not too feminine so even my husband can use it. I normally use body wash but it's just as moisturizing, i can't tell the difference! also i like it that it lasts longer than other bar soaps. it's definitely an option for my household!

I got to try the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar through the Chick Advisor product review club. I normally am not a big bar soap user - I prefer body washes and exfoliating scrubs - but I found the Dove Beauty Bar to be effective cleanser that left my skin feeling soft and fresh. Many bars of soap can leave my skin feeling dry and almost itchy afterwards but the Dove Beauty Bar did not. I found that it did not lather as much as I would like (hence the preference of body washes) but I did find that overall I like using it. I would recommend it to my friends and I know my boyfriend has been using it as well.

I generally use bar soap and I must say I really like the dove beauty bar! It leave you feeling clean, no soapy or tightness on the skin. It has a nice lather and rinses really well.

I used to think soap is soap, but I think from now on I will make the effort to get this soap. Not only did it leave me feelling clean, i have had a couple mention that I smell nice...hopefully I didn't smell bad before!! Lol.

First off I would like to thank Chick Advisor Product Review Club and Dove for giving me the opportunity to review the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar for free.

Although I have never been very sensitive to strong scents, but I found that the bar had an overpowering smell. I have tried other Dove bars before and the smell was not as strong, so it is not such a big problem. Compared to regular soap bars, it does lather up very well and is very moisturizing. It left a nice, clean feeling unlike the itchy and grimy feeling I've experienced from other products. Many people have said that it was an ideal size and shape, I thought so too despite the fact that I have smaller hands. Overall it was very effective. However, I think that it is slightly more pricey than some products ( similar effectiveness and size) that I have tried, so I would only consider purchasing it if It was in the 4-4.50$ range (regular price).
