First off I received this product to try, free of cost as a member of the Review Club.

I've never used Dove bar soap before so I was very excited to try this out. When I first received it I must say that the smell seemed a little overpowering.....which had me worried. I used it right away and have been using it once a day every day since (approx 2.5 weeks). Once the bar gets wet I found the smell to be not so strong....and it left a nice light smell on my skin. The bar lathers really really well......and leaves a nice clean feeling to my skin afterwards. The bar also lasts a super long time....which is fantastic!!

I feel I should mention that I have fairly sensitive skin as well......so I was initially worried about breakouts, skin irritations etc etc....and am happy to say that I had no problems whatsoever in this department. I even used the bar on my face for about a week. However, while the bar was amazing moisturizing on my body I did find that it left my face with a tight feeling afterwards.....which is unfortunate because it was amazing at removing my makeup.....specifically my waterproof mascara.

Overall this was a great product that left my skin feeling soft, clean and hydrated (minus my face). Each bar lasts a substantial amount of time.....and the scent ended up be great despite my initial hesitation. I'd recommend this to anyone.....especially someone with drier skin.

I just received the dove moisture soap bar for the last few weeks. It has a great smell that I really liked and took over my bathroom. Using this soap left a light residue, I guess that's it's the mosituring part. It took a few days to get use to it but It did leave my skin soft and smooth. I like this soap and will probably will use it occasionally

I love the nice, light smell and I found it effective when it came to cleaning my body, but I noticed a slight residue afterwards and I also noticed that I went through the bar very quickly.

I received the bar and got ready for the trials and tribulations to begin!
As I do have sensitive skin periodically through out the year, depending on weather changes and enviroment, I didnt want to jump into the testing with both feet ( so to speak).
I started day one using the Dove bar instead of my regular liquid soap in the shower. I found the scent pleasant, and do think that Dove did well as an overall body-wash. Hands , arms , legs, etc all felt softer.
The next test , was as a face wash. I am more apt to just used plain water and a washcloth on my face, as I do not like the results of most soaps. although I did find that initally that my skin felt softer, that because I am not normally a facial soap user, my skin felt tight and slightly dry.
Over all, a decent experience. I would use the soap in the shower for sure. Others may love it as a facial cleanser as well, but was not for me.

I received this product for review as part of the ChickAdvisor’s Product Review Club and loved it. My skin feels soft and moisturized in comparison to my regular bar of soap I was using before. It lathered up well and rinsed clean. I found the product had a nice smell but very strong when package was first opened. The smell did decrease after awhile but if I was to buy the product I would buy the unscented next time to try and hope for the same results.

I used to use Dove when I was younger and less informed about what my skin can and cannot handle, that being said, I signed up for the Dove ChickAdvisor product review to give this classic brand another chance to wow me, but unfortunately it didn't.

I have sensitive skin and back when I did use Dove, I had to use their sensitive line of products because the smell of the regular line was too strong. This still has not changed, I wasn't very happy with the hit of super floral I got every time I pulled this bar of soap out to use.

It's ok for moisturizing but only for certain parts of the body. Hands, body, legs, feet, do not get this ANYWHERE near your face. I tried, just to see what would happen and I was ruddy and my skin felt super dry for days, my face was super unhappy with me and I knew it was a BAD decision. In the shower I much prefer a liquid soap because I prefer that lather and it doesn't leave a residue on my skin.

All in all, ot's still just an average cream soap bar, I'll use these until I run out but I won't go and buy them again any time soon.

The bar smells SO GOOD! every time i step into the washroom, the pleasant scent of the dove bar fills my nose.

The bar works really well in terms of its ability to moisturize skin. Even without applying lotion after my shower, my skin feels soft and hydrated. I also feel very clean after using the bar.

I usually use liquid soap, but the bar has its advantages. I feel that it cleans better and doesn't leave much residue on my skin.

The only problem with a bar versus liquid soap is that the bar is a little messier to keep in the shower because of the maintenance of the soap cup and cleaning it every so often, but I enjoy the experience of using the bar. I would definitely consider switching to bar soap from this point onward!

I received this product to try and review from the chick advisor product review club. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with the results. My skin is left feeling very clean and soft, it's not dried out at all like it was with my previous soaps. I quite like the scent of it and don't find it overpowering at all, but then again I'm not normally bothered by scents. I could see how someone who is sensitive to strong scents may find this a bit strong. All in all I'm pleased with this product and will continue to use it going forward. I really like the subtle, slightly sweet, clean scent this leaves my skin with. It suds up well, and the bar doesn't become squishy when it gets in water like some other types I had tried. I don't believe it had much of an effect on the condition of my skin though. This goes both ways as it means that my skin, having eczema, did not react badly to it, and also that there was no noticeable moisturising effect.

This is a good product to use if the usual soap just irritates your skin, or if you would like a nice, soft scent just barely lingering after a shower. The scent really is the biggest thing going for this bar, but that is not much. I don't think I would switch from my usual liquid body soaps or recommend it to most people except those who have particularly sensitive skin.

I tried Dove original beauty cream bar and I liked it. If felt nice on my skin and cleaned well. What I didn't like is the smell... it was too strong for me. I wouldn't consider changing from my usual soap because I use a handmade soap (not by me!) with olive oil and cocoa butter that is environment friendly. However I would recommend Dove original beauty cream bar to my friends and family.
