My first impression of the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar is the following: it. smells. so. nice.
I'm not very good at describing fragrances, but it smells quite floral and fresh. It's a very clean and pretty fragrance! But be forewarned, sensitive-nosed ladies - if you are looking for something that has very little or no fragrance, this beauty bar in particular may not be for you! I am unsure of whether or not Dove makes an unscented option.

This bar produces a nice, creamy lather, and does not make my skin feel taut or dry after my shower. It is definitely moisturizing, and I can see it lasting a long time as well!

Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar is a gem for those who don't use, or are tired of body washes.
It's also affordable, easily accessible, and definitely worth your money. I recommend giving it a try, if you haven't already!

I received this product as part of the Product Review Club and must say that I had mixed feelings about the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar. On a positive note, I found the bar to create a creamy and luxurious lather. The thick and rich suds left my skin feeling very soft and moisturized. However, I found the scent to be WAY overpowering and a little hard on my nose. As soon as I opened the box, I could not get the scent out of my nose...it seems to linger in the air. I would recommend this product for it's moisturing properties, but I would probably recomend unscented or a different scent, other than original.

My last experience with Dove soap was not a good one as it was overly scented and left my skin dry. This time, while still scented, it was not overwhelmingly so and I didn't feel the need to use extra moisturizer after having a shower. It lathers nicely too! I would recommend the use of this product.

When I received Dove Original Beauty Bar, I must admit that I was sceptical because the last time I used a bar of soap on my face, my skin was left super thigh and itchy. but I was happily surprised with Dove! It has a pleasant but not overpowering smell, it lathers really well and while my face really feels clean, it doesn't feel tight and it's not left irritated or dry. Of course, because of my eczema, I can't skip moisturizer, but I'm always happy to use a product that won't dry it out even more.

When I received this product in the mail for the review club, I could smell it right away. I thought it was a very strong smell, which turned me off initially as I normally go for unscented products if possible. But I decided to give it a try in the shower. I am a regular soap bar user and have used other Dove soaps in the past, as well as Olay and Lever 2000. Once wet the scent of the bar was not as strong and I found it to me moisturizing and clean feeling after rinsing.

I recently received two Dove Original Beauty Cream Bars to review from Chick Advisor. I was so excited to give it a try. As soon as I opened the first bar of soap I noticed the amazing aroma. It immediately reminded me of my mother's house. Specifically her bathroom. My mother has amazing skin for her age (81) After a week of trying out the Dove Beauty Cream Bar I was very happy. It left my skin feeling moisturized and soft, yet still clean and fresh. I prefer not to use it on my face however since I have naturally oily skin and don't need extra moisture on my face. As far as a body bar I found it wonderful. Rich and creamy without leaving that dry itchy feeling that alot of other bar soaps leave me with. That you Dove and Chick Advisor for taking me back to Dove. I love the fresh clean scent that is not too overpowering and will definately be purchasing this in the future.

Love the smell, It is so creamy and smooth on the skin, it doesnt dry you out after your shower.

It occured to me that it's been a very long time since I used Dove because every time I use it, I am immediately transported back to my childhood. The unique and classic scent is so reminiscent of my grandmother's Parisian-inspired bathroom.

I usually use shower gell (no particular brand) on a puff so I decided to give the beauty bar the same experience for comparison sake. It lathered up great (almost as much as a gel), rinsed off cleanly, left my skin moisturized and smelling great! My husband is an Ivory soap kind of guy and even he said he liked the Dove bar (although the scent is a bit much for his liking).

I would buy this again because it made my skin feel and smell so good.

I received a free sample from Dove and ChickAdvisor as part of their product review panel. As soon as I opened the carton, the scent reminded me of my mother's soaps. It had that distinct smell of beauty bar that I grew up with. Now using the soap, it lathered up quite well. I even used it on a shower puff and the lather was plentiful. I rinsed off very easily, almost leaving a squeaky clean feel. So squeaky clean that I still felt I had to use a moisturizer afterwards.

As soon as i opened the package you could smell the soap through out the house as it was strong. But the next morning the smell still was in the bathroom and it was fresh. Now it was time to shower. I found the soap to be gentle and cleansing. I have used it everyday for bathing and i found my skin to be soft and nicely scented from bathing. I would use this soap again.
