The Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar felt really creamy on my skin, a pleasant change from the harsh bar soaps I have used in the past. It left a slight film after rinsing, but it wasn't bothersome (although in more humid weather this summer it might be!). I can definitely see this soap becoming my go-to soap for the drier months of the year when my skin needs that extra layer of moisture. The scent seemed fairly strong to me when it was fresh out of the box, but over time became more subtle (but still noticeably present).

I am also not a big fan of bar soaps but this actually doesnt make my skin dry and i have combination skin. pretty good stuff

I received this as a part of the product review club. I've used it before and I absolutely love it because it is so moisturizing and smells great. It makes the showering experience a lot better :P Also I have pretty dry skin on my legs and arms and I've noticed that after using the beauty bar I'm a lot less flaky then after using other soaps. Ultimately, I don't use it often because its more expensive than other soaps! After being reminded of the awesomeness of the beauty bar, I think it really is worth your money. I will definitely be sticking to this product, thanks Chick Advisor!

I was selected by ChickAdvisor to review this great product. I have to say, that I have never used any Dove soaps in the past, and I was pretty amazed by this product.

Pros: Makes your skin feel smooth and soft and has a pretty unique and attractive scent to it. It takes a while to use which is good as you don't pay money for a soap that is going to be wasted in a day. Dove always has a smooth texture and goes well on skin. If you have sensitive skin, this soap doesn't aggravate it which is a positive reassurance for people who peel or flake from certain soap products.

Cons: Nothing really, except the price might be a bit too expensive for some.
Overall: Overall, this soap is worth what you pay as it smells beautiful and makes your skin feel lovely and soft. I would definately recommend this soap to my friends and family!

i have very dry skin and have a hard time finding soap that doesn't make my skin even drier. Dove made my skin feel soft. The smell was a little strong for me before using the product, but the smell wasnt too overbearing after rinsing it off.

All I use for body, not on the face because it is too drying

I got the beauty bar from the chick advisors product review club, and I was impressed! I've used Dove for years and I have sensitive skin. Soap in general is very drying. But Dove soap is very gentle and works well. Dermatologists recommend it for dry or sensitive skin because it's very gentle. My whole family uses it and I've referred the Dove white beauty bar to many friends with acne problems and they have all seen significant improvements. I've never heard of it drying your skin out. I don't have any acne except an occasional stress zit and I use Dove every day.

as a child my mom would use the dove baby bar on me, but since then I hadn't really used the bar soap.
I'm more of a body wash kinda gal, and I was so surprised by the lather and scent of it...my skin was surprisingly soft and smooth after I was out of the shower...I can see this being great in the winter!

I got this sample of the Dove bar from the chick advisors and it feels very good on my skin! I actually just run out of bath gel and this came in and it was right on time! I love the smell of it, and it like the creamy feeling.
