Be Careful with this Balm

Let's start with the good in this review, the design is cute, the smell is also pleasant and the price is fair.

I've been having terrible breakouts near my lips, chin and jawline for months without knowing what was breaking me out. I stripped down my whole routine to using only lotion and sunscreen in the morning then double cleansing and a cream at night. The five products I used have been products I've used for years without problems. At first I thought it was because one of the products may have changed their ingredients but after researching nothing has changed. I've also stopped using any sort of makeup products on my face since my breakouts. Eventually I lost my eos lip balm so I've had no choice but to stop using it. My breakouts stopped within days! I thought it was a coincidence so after my breakouts have cleared I bought a new eos and used it again. Lo and behold, my breakouts came back the next day of using it. I've Googled and found a lot of other users who have had the same issues as me. It's definitely not an isolated incident and I would advise anyone to do their own research.

I would never recommend this product to anyone I know and would not support this brand.

STAY AWAY

If I could give this product a zero stars I would! This mint EOS balm was a NIGHTMARE! It made my lips swell double their normal size & BLISTER!! My lips felt like they were on burning & we're drier than a desert on a hot summers day. For the price these balms cost, I was expecting better results other than being left damaged lips from using this product.

Lip balm on the go

I carry these lip balms from EOS everywhere. I love the sweet mint one especially in the winter because the mint keeps my lips from cracking and keeps them smooth. I find them a little expensive so I usually buy them at Costco when they are available in packs of six

Alright Product

I was really excited to try this lip balm because I saw so many people use it. And yes it it's a good lip balm, but I think it's a bit overpriced, it has this nice tingly feeling on the lips but most mint lip balms do too. It's not a bad product but for me it's a bit too expensive for a lip balm.

Eos mint is great! I love the cool feel on my lips

EOS minty is my new favorite EOS flavour. It gives a cool sensation to your lips which is great when your lips are sun or windburned. Like all EOS products this product does a great job repairing chapped lips and preventing them from re drying out.

Bad Reaction

I loved these, for a long time. I bought every single one that came out.

The mint one was my favourite. My most used one and the one I had to repurchase most often. Until I was one of the unlucky people that got the dry, cracked, blistering, bleeding lips.

I had just bought a brand new one, opened it and put it on my lips ... INSTANT BURNING and the next morning there as a huge rash all around my lips. It progressively got worse over a week and it took about a month to clear up. During that month, I went through 4 tubes of Nivea lip balm just trying to keep my lips from cracking any more than they already had.

Absolute favorite

Out of all of the Eos lip balms this flavor is my absolute favorite! It smells amazing! Love sweet mint. It's a little on the pricey side for lip balm but it lasts a while. This doesn't dry out your lips even more forcing you to keep buying the product, it actually soothes your lips.

Works Great and Smells Phenomenal!

I finally jumped on the EOS bandwagon after reading so many mixed reviews. What I have noticed is that people either love or or hate it as it just doesn’t seem to work with some skin types and ends up drying out their lips. For me, it is one of my favourite lip balms ever- not only for the smell and the cute packaging, but also because it really moisturizes my lips and makes them look supple.

The container is obviously very cute but it’s unique shape (and colour) makes it very easy to find in my purse. I will definitely repurchase it when I run out!

I would buy this again.

My daughters and I use EOS all the time. It's handy to have at your desk, in your car and in your pocket. I love that there are a number of different flavors!

Dries out my lips

I always buy these just cuz they look so cute and smell so good, but they dry my lips out so so bad snd are over priced. Their too waxy and heavy, the only time id reccomend these is if youre putting on a really thick lipstick.
