I was extremely lucky to test brand new dream blender all thanks to Maybelline! I typically use make up sponges so this was an entirely new test for me, and one in which I was extremely delighted to try! The actual blender was a lot firmer than I had expected, even after applying a spritz of water. I was expecting more of a soft typical beauty blender feel but found this to be entirely different. I found the size and handle to be the perfect size and fit comfortable in my hand for more precise and comfortable application. It look me a minute to get the flow right but I figured it out soon enough! I found the shape and size to be extremely precise around the eye area and it glided the product on with extreme accuracy. For larger areas like my cheeks I found I didn't enjoy it nearly as much and still prefer a regular soft sponge or foundation brush. As a combo with the Dream Velvet Foundation I would say these two products are unseparable and work as a great team and are now a staple item in my cosmetics bag! The end result was a smooth finish with even coverage and I would recommend this to everyone!

I love the Maybelline New York Dream Blender. I have never used one like this before, but it has literally become a part of my daily routine. I really like that there is a handle because I find it allows me to be precise with where I'm using it. I also like that the tip is pointy because I can get right in close to my eyes, and as well as the creases of my nose and it blends beautifully. It said you can dampen the blender for a lighter coverage, but I preferred it dry. I would recommend this to everybody because it’s simple and easy to use, and basically does all your blending work effortlessly.

I saw this at Rite Aid and I fell in love. I mostly contour my cheeks and around my face just to give some depth. And this blender is pretty good. The only issue I have is that the little holder they gave it isn't very sturdy... the blender begins to bend a bit.

I received this product as part of the Maybelline Dream Velvet package, and as part of the Chick Advisor review club. I usually use my own kind of sponges for blending foundation, and don't think too much of it. When I received this blender to try with the foundation, I didn't think it would be any different than a regular sponge. It helped blend the foundation really well, and I felt it helped get into the spaced under the eyes and around the nose for a more even application. I liked the sponge, but I don't think I would go out of my way to buy it to be used with this foundation. But it was a neat tool to use.

At first I was skeptical with this product, but in the end I found very easy to use and practical as well, especially for the eye area and nose.
I also found that the sponge was pretty absorbent so quite a bit of foundation gets used.

For the brush I found it did its job well and blended my make up beautifully. I especially found it helpful for my eye and lip area.
However, I found it awkward to hold because the handle was so small. I also found that the sponge was pretty absorbent so quite a bit of foundation gets used.
I would probably purchase this again if it is on sale.

The only issue I had with this applicator was that it was a little awkward to use, but I do love the shape and that i can get apply perfectly to every corner of my face easily.

I was lucky enough to have been picked to try out and review Maybelline New York Dream Blender. Now this was the first time I've ever used a blender sponge before, I found that it applied the foundation nice and even over my face, and I didn't have to use much product to get a nice good coverage. What I didn't like about it was that it felt like I was applying my foundation with a fuzzyless tennis ball. I found it a little too hard for my likings. I've seen others use beauty blenders that definitely look much softer. With that I didn't like it around my eyes at all way to hard for such a sensitive area. I also poked my eye with the pointy part which didn't feel all that good and made my eye water for basically the rest of the day. So other then that I liked that I didn't have to use much product to get a great coverage but I found it too hard.

This blender is absolutely amazing. The size is perfect, it's very soft, easy to clean and blends my foundation perfectly. Totally worth every penny. Thank you ChickAdvisor for sending this gem and thank you MaybellineCAN for creating such a fantastic product.

I was super excited to find the Maybelline New York Dream Blender in my free ChickAdvisor package. My sister has told me about blenders before and how awesome they are but I've never tried one! I love it! It made it so much easier to blend my Maybelline New York Foundation so it didn't look like I was wearing anything at all. Can't believe I ever put on foundation without one of these before. Love how compact it is and also how easy it is to clean.
