One of the best non-prescription retinol creams

Now that I'm in my 30s, I find my skin has transitioned away from combination/oily skin to being dry. The texture is quite creamy it feels really moisturizing- which is great for my skin as it is now.

Initially on application, I felt a warming, not quite burning sensation. I also had some skin flaking. The warming sensation and flaking lasted for ~8 days for me. I definitely recommend some daily gentle exfoliation to help with the flaking. After that, it was great! If you have sensitive skin, I'd be a bit more cautious- start applications every other day, and slowly ramp up to twice daily.

I received the fragrance-free version which I really appreciate it. I don't like seeing "fragrance" or "parfum" in ingredients, it seems unnecessary and increases the likelihood of irritation. Plus, strong fragrances give me a headache. Without any fragrance added, the cream still has a pleasant slightly sweet smell.

In terms of efficacy, I've tried several non-prescription retinols as well as prescription ones. And I can say with confidence that its definitely one of the best and effective non-prescription retinols. Not quite as effective as prescription ones- but thats to be expected.

Its also quite affordable compared to higher end skincare brands with the same efficacy.

All in all, would definitely recommend to others in their 30s that want to be proactive in keeping their skin wrinkle-free and youthful.

It works!

I was able to try this #freeproduct in exchange for my honest review. While I don't have any deep lines or wrinkles at this time, my skin definitely felt tighter, brighter and smoother with the use of this cream. My only warning would be to ease into it if you haven't used a retinol cream before. I found after 5 days of am/pm application, that my skin was a little angry, but this resolved with less use.

Decent anti aging cream for a good value.

I received this Neutrogena cream from Chick Advisor #gotitfree and was really excited to try it out since my skin really needed any help I could get after having my daughter. I chose the fragrance free since my skin is slightly sensitive.
The first time I tried it I felt a little bit of tingling. So i started using it every other day. My skin felt much smoother and not as rough. It did feel like my fine lines on my forehead weren't as visible. I really liked the light gel cream texture, usually a lot of anti aging creams tend to be a lot thicker. This one absorbed really quickly.

I would recommend this to anyone that's looking for a decent cream and wants results but doesn't want to spend a fortune for a big name brand product.

I did enjoy using it but unfortunately I couldn't use it as an every day moisturizer so I would probably alternate with something else.

I absolutely love the Rapid wrinkle repair line by Neutrogena, but I have not tried this before. I received this free in return for an honest review, and let me tell you it works! I really like that it is unscented. It has a pleasant, mild scent. A little goes a long way as well. It is very moisturizing for a retinol product. I saw results in just a few days. My skin looks brighter, softer and all around healthier. I would definitely recommend this and any product from this line. Affordable, and effective!

First I was excited to try this product then two weeks before receiving I had a bad reaction to a different Neutrogena product.
However still enjoyed using it as it was gentle on my skin. This is very creamy and white in color. It does however have a old scent which I really didn't care for. As for use you apply it morning and night for soft skin. I didn't find that is got rid of fine lines now I dont know if I didn't use the product long enough as I only been using for a week or just my touchy skin.
This cream is easy to find in-stores and for a skin cream decent in price.

Résultats fantastiques à petit prix

Une crème EFFICACE contenant du rétinol* , de la Vitamin C et de l'acide hyaluronic à moins de 30$ CAN pour un format de 48ml (1.68 FL OZ) est tout de même assez rare sur le marché.
J'apprécie que la formule soit sans parfum et assez douce pour être appliqué quotidiennement. (Important : Si c'est la première fois que vous utilisez du Rétinol il faut y aller doucement à raison de 1 à 2 fois par semaine au début avec une augmentation du rythme d'application par la suite afin d'accoutumer votre peau) ... Mon résultat après 10 jours est une peau vraiment douce (exfoliation efficace) et parfaitement hydratée. Comme il suffit d'utiliser très peu de crème pour obtenir de bons résultats ce pot va me durer des mois.
Franchement c'est une belle trouvaille qui est vite devenu mon hydratant de nuit de choix.

Oui je l'achèterais

Je fut très surprise de l'efficacité du Correcteur de rides express de Neutrogena. Après 10 jours consécutifs d'essai, les résultats fut pour moi surprenant. Surtout aux niveau des petites rides indésirables ou qui nous sembles trop apparentes. J'ai adoré et je le recommande fortement! Merci pour ce merveilleux banc d'essai gratuit!

Effective but strong!

I believe this cream is effective on my first wrinkles. I love the texture of it. My skin feels great once it’s applied. I would highly recommend using it only every other day to start if you have sensitive skin. My skin started to flake and feel dry (as the packaging indicates it might), however this is supposedly a sign that it is working. Once my skin got used to it and as long as I didn’t over do it, I saw good results. I will continue to use this!

Good drugstore product but regrettably not cruelty-free

I’ve had the opportunity through Chickadvisor #gotitfree to test Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream for the past 10 days.

Before receiving my free sample, I took the opportunity to review the ingredients on the ThinkDirty app and on InciDecoder. I’ve been using skin care products for many years, and I have to admit it has only been recently that I really started to care more about cruelty-free status and ingredients like fragrance.

The best ingredients in this cream are retinol (wrinkle fighter), Vitamin C (collagen production) and hyaluronic acid (hydration, plumpness and elasticity). All of these things are helpful to my 50+ year old skin.

I was happy to see that Rapid Wrinkle Repair has a Fragrance-Free option, and even happier to evaluate this option.

The pros: no fragrance and nice consistency which has left my skin feeling softer and more hydrated. I’ve fought ingrown hairs for years, and the retinol in this cream seems to really help exfoliate the skin and reduce this issue.

The con: Neutrogena sells in China, where animal testing is mandatory, and so they are not cruelty-free. I like the product and the price is decent, but I cannot re-purchase until they change their testing practices nor can I recommend to my friends and colleagues. "Fuhgeddaboutit" might be a bit strong, but so is "YouBetcha".

Great product smooth wrinkles

I love this product, it goes on smooth and not sticky and really moisturizes too and it smells not too strong. I recommend to anyone, I just find that I have to let it absorb a bit before applying moisturizer is not it's a bit greasy.
