I love the texture and feel of these lip butters. The deepr hues offer great lip pigment and still feel like a balm!

At first I was skeptical about trying this lip butter due to the price, but because I am a sucker for Emma Stone I decided to try it. I bought the product in Peach Parfait and I love it. I used the lip butter very often because the color goes with almost anything. It is also very moisturizing and goes on really nicely. My mom even bought the same color after I did because she liked it so much. I wish it was cheaper so I could buy more, but I'm okay with the color I have now. I think it is worth a one time buy but until the price goes down a bit, or it goes on sale I'll wait before buying new colors.

I recently purchased a Revlon lip butter, in tutti fruiti, Its a coral orange colour, it looks very vibrant in the tube but it comes off sheer and is very build-able. I think this colour would look good with all kinds of skin tones, I have darker skin and was very skeptical about this colour, but it turned out great! However, it does tend to bleed a little, so i recommend applying lip liner before applying it.

I'd been hearing a lot of hype lately about the Revlon Colorburst lip butters from some of my favorite Youtube gurus. So I thought I'd try them out for myself. I went into shopper drug mart on Monday and bought two in the colors Pink Truffle and Brown Sugar, they were on sale too for $7.99 as they are usually $10.99. I've been using those two shades so much that today I went back and bought 3 more in the colors Candy Apple, Cherry Tart and Peach Parfait. they aren't like your average lip stick pr lip balm. As they have more pigment then the average tinted lip balm and they are way more moisturizing then a lipstick. Since I'm not a big fan of drug store make up of any kind, I was pleasantly surprised to find these lip butters to my liking. Some shades are more pigmented then others, such as Pink truffle which is a brownish pink shade that has great color payoff. Some of the shades also have a lot of sparkle, like Peach Parfait. I think all of the colors would be great for throwing into your purse, beach bag or pencil case for some lip color on the go that moisturizes.

The shade that I picked (005 Sugar Frosting) is quite amazing and the lipstick does a great job at leaving your lips mosturized for quick a long time. It applies really well and wears nicely. This is a fairly new product and my hope is that they will add some more colours to the already existing palette.

I am pretty pleased with my lip butter so far! I bought it in the shade Sugar Plum. I think the moisturising effect of the lip butter is a bit overrated though. While it is a moisturising and I do find that my lips are not dried out like other lipsticks- I think the "lip butter" name is a bit misleading- this shouldn't replace your lip balm.

I was surprised at how pigmented this lip butter is- it has a great colour, more than 'tinted' I would say. They also come in a variety of colours and shades- I was impressed at how many there were. I like the feeling of this lip butter a lot- it isn't sticky or too thick like some glosses, balms or lipsticks are. It's light enough to wear during the day too. I don't feel too overdone.

I think the price for the quality of the product is right- I paid about $8 for one. I think I would definitely purchase this again- I am excited to try out different colours.

Here is a quote from my review on my blog:

"Unfortunately I do not find these lip butters very hydrating at all. If you have already smooth and soft lips, you may consider these hydrating. For people like me though, who live in cold climates and always have dry and chapped lips, these are not the product to use for moisturizing. This is mainly what bothers me the most about this product. Revlon claims these lip butters should give you baby soft and healthy lips, that it should boost lip moisture and that it will provide supercharged hydration. This is exactly what I expected when I purchased them but all they really turned out to be is a lipstick with a glossy finish that provides a tiny bit of moisture.

With that being said, I otherwise really love these lip butters!! They are glossy, shiny, pigmented, long lasting and the 20 shades Revlon has to offer are gorgeous. Some of them have a shimmery/glitter finish and some have a cream finish. I use them as lipsticks and make sure to have already moisturized lips before applying them and they look amazing. If you have cracked, chapped or dry lips - DO NOT apply this product. It will look cakey and just not pretty.

One more thing: don't let the delicious names of the shades deceive you, they are unscented for the most part!"
