Great for the environment; dishes not fully clean

I like that this brand does not use plastic packaging! However the effectiveness compared to bigger brands was not there. After taking dishes out of the dish washer I did notice several food stains remaining.

Disappointed Dishwasher

Was very excited to try this product, but was disappointed in the results. Ran several loads, using same load volume and settings as my usual dishwasher tabs, but each time resulting in a few dishes that were not fully clean, and glassware that was foggy.

Chalky tablets

I received the fragrance-free 40 count package. It's got the same consistency and look of a thick rectangular Popeye cigarette candy. Chalky white and feels the same but doesn't leave a chalky residue on your hands just upon touch but I'm sure if you rubbed it, there would be some residue. It should not be handled with wet hands and I rinse my hands after handling. The package seems to be environmentally friendly in that the tablets aren't individually wrapped or have any plastics and it comes in a re-sealable cardboard box. The issue I see with this is that usually people store their dishwashing supplies under the sink and there's a possibility that a leak could destroy the entire box of product since it has no waterproof protections. The imprinted brand name in the side of each chalky white tablet seems like something that adds to the cost. It seems to be just as effective as the other individually packaged dishwasher tablets I use regularly.

Will only use for emergencies

Tru Earth's Dishwasher Detergent Tablets didn't do such an amazing job in cleaning. These tablets cut through the tough on grease but instill had to wash the dishes back again. I may use this as a backup tablet for those long days. The tablets does not use chlorine bleach, dyes, etc. It's Canadian made too.
