A great book! Most times books are far better than movies because they can give so much more detail than a time constrained movie. A glimpse into a fast-paced and exciting industry to so many would love to be a part of.

    love love love this book!
I read it after watching the movie (Meryl Streep is PRO!) and fell in love immediately.
This kind of book really influenced me to understand what kind of life I want to have in the future after I graduate, and get an idea of what kind of industry I want to work in.

I read this book a couple of years before the movie came out and it was really good. It was a lot better than the movie so if you liked the movie, I think you'll enjoy the book as well if not more.

For awhile I saw the trailers for The Devil Wears Prada movie on television, but I didn't know right away that it was a book. Personally, I like to try and read the book before I go see the movie, so I picked this up and started reading.

It's so funny, clever, and you can really relate with the main character if you're fashion clueless or just don't really care. While reading this book I started wondering how they were going to fit everything into the movie, but I just figured that it was going to be a really long one. The only thing that really disappointed me in the book was the boyfriend situation. If you've read it than you know what I mean. It just didn't seem to end or anything. It's hard to explain.

When I saw the movie, it was somewhat disappointing, considering that they cut and changed a lot of things. I liked the movie as a movie, but I wouldn't even compare it to the novel! So for those of you who just saw the movie, I recommend that you pick up a copy of the book, because it's a thousand times better.
