Il Gelatiere Artiganale - Toronto

The gelato is wonderful. The decor & ambiance welcoming. The staff friendly. Did I mention that the gelato is wonderful. My fave is the grapefruit. Sample are abundant also.
Perfect for an after-movie snack.

Wow this place is amazing! We were in the neighborhood and stopped by this adorable gelatiere for a treat. I'm so glad we did because I believe we just happened upon the best gelato in Toronto. Everything tastes extremely fresh and authentic. I had the lemon and the chocolate. Both flavors were so, so good! The lemon was really refreshing and the chocolate was just divine!

The cafe itself is quite cute. They plan to continue selling gelato over the winter and are in the process of adding crepes to the menu. They currently sell sandwiches and have a full espresso bar. Alex tried their espresso and really enjoyed it.

I highly recommend il Gelatiere for their quality gelato, friendly service and espresso that'll make Italians proud. Definitely check this place out.

This new gelateria is a welcome addition to the Mt Pleasant & Eglinton neighbourhood! The quality of La Paloma gelato - if not better - but much cheaper. The store is simple and modern and a refreshing contrast to its competitor on Bayview, Hollywood Gelato. Their tiramisu flavor is the best I've ever had, a friend swears the passionfruit and strawberry flavors are a fruit explosion in the mouth - and their chocolate can't be beat! I have yet to try their hot drinks but I doubt they'll disappoint! Highly recommended!

Il Gelatiere Artiganale recently opened up on Mt. Pleasant just south of Eglinton (647 Mount Pleasant Rd). Not only will you love their ice-cream, but you'll also enjoy the friendly services there! The staff is so helpful and there are many many flavours to choose from. Their chocolate one (I can't remember the name of it) is HEAVENLY. A friend of mine also tried Chili Chocolate (I didn't because I don't like spicy) but she said it was unbelievable. If ever you are in the area, you should definitely check this place out!
