perfect for vegan baking!

I love that this plant based brick is so easy to use and can be used as a1:1 substitute for butter. No fancy complicated math involved, just replace butter in your recipe and you can easily convert your recipe to vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free! Taste wise, I could not tell the difference. I used the brick to make butter cookies and it had the same flakiness that normally could only be achieved with butter. The texture of the bricks is generally like butter, however, is a bit more soft like margarine would be when pulling it straight out of the fridge. I really like the unsalted version, as I often do a lot of pastry making and use a lot of unsalted butter, so I was super glad that Becel had both an unsalted and salted versions!

Great vegan substitute!

I love these new plant based bricks from Becel! You can use them as a 1:1 substitute for butter without having to compromise on taste or texture. I love this for vegan baking, and even for a healthier alternative because Becel's Plant Based Bricks have 25% less saturated fat than butter. I used the unsalted version in my favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe and they turned out beautifully! I would definitely repurchased this butter alternative as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Great butter

Great tasting butter. I loved the softness and smoothness of the butter. It is spreadable even when just taken out the fridge. I also like that is plant based. Great for cooking, baking, and as a spread.

Couldn’t tell the difference!

I received the Becel plant based spread for free from @familyrated in exchange for my honest opinion. I found that this product looks and tastes just like butter. I have used it on toast as a spread, as a cooking ingredient and in baking and the results were perfect each and every time. I do a lot of cooking and tend to use butter a lot so I am happy to have discovered this product which is a healthier version since it is vegan and dairy free, having been made from different oils. I will definitely purchase this product again.

This product tastes like butter, acts like butter but is totally plant-based. I love it! I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the taste and texture of real butter but is trying to eat a more plant based diet.
I have cooked with this, baked with it and cannot tell the different.

Great in baking

I decided to try this product in a batch of cinnamon buns I was making and was pleasantly suprised! It mixed in easily and never added a unwanted taste. It was a perfect addition to baking!
