I finally caved and bought this $30 cad concealer after hearing great reviews about it everywhere. It is full coverage, but has a light creamy feel on your skin. It comes in only 3 shades: fair, med and deep. The fair works well for light skinned tones however, it works for me. For years, I was under the impression that yellow under your eyes helps in concealing (from all the drugstore concealers that I'd been using) that is a myth and actually peach or salmon colours do much better. This erase paste is that exact colour, an apricot colour that blends into your skin nicely. You just need a small amount and just tap and blend under your eyes lightly. You can always do thin layers if you need more. The pot is small, but will last you forever. It also comes with a little scoop if you are not into dipping your finger in, I probably won't use it myself cause dipping into products that I use myself online does not bother me.

I would recommend this product, if you are looking for a med-full coverage concealer, and don't mind spending so much. Or ask for a sample size of it, cause that is big in itself, and see if you like it. This concealer may be my holy grail.

After struggling to find a really good concealer to cover just about everything, i made my way to the Benefit counter to get some tips as i had been using some of its own tinted moisturiser.

I had recently come up in a few spots and was feeling a bit low about my skin. The lady that told me about erase paste really rated it and was slightly aprehensive as it looks all gloopy and a strange pinky colour! But she explained how to use it (just a little under your eyes and best applied with a makeup brush then lightly blended with your fingers, finish with powder or bronzer on cheeks and voila!)

It really did make a difference..she did say try not to use on spots as may tend to make them look worse however i do often use a little on them and around my nose area! Bo-ing concealer is the best at hiding my spots and really lasts!

I have just invested in the Confessions of a Concealaholic mini box that they are doing..its a kit complete with everything you need to make ur skin look amazing!! Best thing iv bought in a long time!! (priced at £28.50)

LOVE this product. I always have bags under my eyes and this completely evens out my skin tone in that area and makes it look like I've had a good night's sleep. I use shade #1 (fair) and find it to be a perfect match.

I like that the product comes with a little spatula so you don't have to contaminate the pot with your fingers.

    Another fantastic product from Benefit.

I was a loyal YSL Touche Eclat fan for a while but when I hit 30 I needed more moisture and more coverage :( Touche Eclat didn't give enough coverage and started to accentuate the flaky skin around my eyes. When I tried Erase Paste, I fell in love! It not only brightened up the under eye, but it did an amazing job at covering my dark circles. I like that it has a warm peachy undertone which is great for really dark circles. The texture is super rich and creamy - good for eyes that need more moisture. The creaminess allows for blending time and once it settles it stays put. A little goes a long way so it's always good to start with a little and then add more. I like that it has a little spatula which is what I love about Benefit - they always think of all the things women would need to make applying makeup easier! I use #3 shade which is the darkest. Hopefully they will come out with a wider range for more skin tones to use. If you do have dark skin, use #3 under circles or blemishes then apply a natural tone foundation over top. I prefer this for my undereyes and like using another concealer for blemishes. The reason is Erase Paste has brightening qualities - you don't want to highlight a blemish! It covers well though!

As I am heading towards my big 3-0, every concealer I have bought ended up rolling around in my makeup case either because they felt too heavy or cakey. While I was browsing the Benefit display, the cute little box grabbed my attention. I had stepped out of the house without makeup, and didnt realize how tired I looked until AFTER I put the product on. It instantly brightened up under the eye.

The texture is on the creamier side. Although it takes longer to dry compared to other products, this allows you to blend in the paste properly. Despite the smooth texture, it also has a very high coverage and is longlasting. When I go to work, all I put on is my translucent powder or sometimes just sunblock. So it is crucial that the concealer looks very natural against my skin.

The pot also comes with a small scooper, which is a nice touch since I hate getting products under my nail. Don't scoop out too much, because a little amount really goes a long way for this product.
