Surprenant !

J'avais peur que ce produit soit fade et goûte l'edulcorant comme plusieurs produit alléger mais heureusement pour moi ce n'est pas le cas !  Une bonne crème glacée onctueuse . La texture est un peu différente des crème glacée '' normal '' mais j'ai tout de même bien apprécié.

280 calories et 16 grammes de protéines par contenant. On peu ce gâter sans ce sentire coupable. Par contre j'ai trouver le prix un peu dispendieux ( 7,99 $ )

Je ne croit pas racheter la saveur vanille puisque ce n'est pas ma saveur préféré dans la vie. Mais j'ai bien l'intention d'essayer les deux autre saveur (( chocolat et biscuit et crème ))

I was given the opportunity to taste test for free the new Breyers Delight Vanilla Bean frozen desserts. I'll have to say it tasted nice and light. It was most definitely not as creamy as your typical Breyers double churned ice cream but it didn't bother me at all. Just the way it was hit the spot for me. Would be perfect with a warm brownie! It had a nice texture that reminded me a little bit of a sorbet but slightly creamier than that. I do appreciate that it's got less calories per serving for sure. I would consider buying it again if it was on sale and I had a coupon because the price point at $6.99 is a lot over my budget for the size it came in. It wouldn't be worth it for me at that price.

Not for me

First, it took me 8 stores to find this product! This ice cream is not very popular and I wouldn’t want to search that long for an ice cream. At first the ice cream was very tasty. I enjoyed the texture and taste. It was creamy and lovely. But after I finished eating I had this horrible taste in my mouth. Like that taste you get when you drink diet pop. A fake sugar taste. This after taste lasted a long time and was very unpleasant for me. I wouldn’t buy this product again.

This is some really tasty ice cream.

I admit, I was pretty skeptical, especially when I saw the price tag ($8.99 regular price at my local Sobeys). However, since I had been chosen by the ChickAdvisor product review club to evaluate this product, I happily brought it home with me!

The nutrition facts are off the charts for a pint of ice cream. 280 calories/16 grams of protein in the entire 500ml pack or 70 calories/4 grams of protein in the 125ml suggested serving size. That's about half the calories of traditional ice cream.

As far as taste goes, you would think that something so low in calories would be awful as far as taste profile goes, right? Wrong. This ice cream is smooth and creamy and totally hits the spot.

If you're in the mood for an ice cream splurge, I would definitely recommend this one.

Light, Summertime Dessert

Thank you Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try Breyers Delights in Vanilla Bean. The product has a nice smooth texture, similar to ice cream. It is not very rich or heavy. It has a nice, subtle flavour that I think would go well with berries. I would recommend this product to anyone who is very conscious of what they eat as Breyers Delights is a nice option for a light treat. It is not overly sweet. I think it would make a great post-BBQ, summer-time dessert!

Loved this ice cream!

I was excited to try this ice cream since it had 16 grams of protein. I work out 5 days a week and it’s a nice little cheat to have on a Friday night. I like vanilla so the vanilla bean was an obvious choice. It has a nice vanilla flavour that isn’t overpowering and doesn’t have an odd aftertaste. It was a little expensive so it’s best to buy it on sale for better value. Would definitely get it again.

Guilt free indulgence!

I initially went to get the cookies and cream flavour, but it was sold out so I went with the Vanilla bean. I wasn’t disappointed. It is a great guilt free alternative to ice cream. It tastes very good and creamy. I will say, however, that both myself and my husband found this flavour overly sweet. I don’t know about the other flavours. But it might be due to the stevia and other sweeteners. I would definitely recommend trying this! And don’t feel bad if you eat the whole thing! Maybe get two so you have one as a backup once you finish the first ;) #gotitfree #yummy #breyerscanada

Enjoyable low calorie dessert

Finally a dessert I can finish all by myself without minding calories. The creamy texture was same as regular ice creams. There was a slight aftertaste because of the artificial sweetener but yay it’s low calorie and tastes less sugary and added bonus of 16 g of protein and fibres. Good product worth trying. Will buy other favours next time!!

Creamy and smooth

Happy to try this new product :) I enjoyed this ice cream as it was pretty tasty and creamy. I am looking forward to trying the other flavors as well. The two downfalls is the price and the size. It is super small so I ate it basically all in one day and that was pushing it. I could have eaten the whole thing in one sitting and for over 6 dollars at loblaws.. YIKES! If its on sale, i will probably buy some but for regular price, I think I will have to pass. #gotitfree

First store didn't have the proper kind but it was worth it in the end. And to think it's less calories is great too
