I don’t think I will buy this again

I bought this product after reading reviews and a recommendation from a colleague. I was disappointed with the results. I found that it did not last longer than 3 days. Says 7 days and it started to chip after 3.

Would not be buying this product again

A top coat that needs to be applied so frequently to keep its effectiveness is not something I have time to do. The product does give a nice shine but needs to be applied weekly. I much rather use shellac polish to have it last longer. I've also used drugstore top coats that are much cheaper and gives just as much shine.

Nice and glossy but doesn't last a week

I received this polish for free as part of Chickadvisor's review club. I used it combination with the Vinylux polish that was a beutiful nude color.

After applying 2 coats of polish and 1 of this top coat, I expexted my nails to last as nice as day one for a week. However after only 2 or 3 days I was already seeing chips and the texture was so thick in the end that I could almost peel everything off with my nails.

The top coat is glossy and doesn't take too long to dry on its own however with 3 coats total I found I had to wear almost an hour or it would smudge. I even noticed air bubbles upon application.

The combined wear of the Vinylux polish and top coat did not last a week and I don't know how these normally retail for, but I would not pay any more than your regular Revlon or Sally Hansen brands.

I initially thought this brand would be similar to the Shellac experience which can last the test of time, however this is a totally different product that is just like a regular polish.

Not a new favourite, sadly.

I love the matching bottle of topcoat to go with the colour (in my case, "Midnight Swim"). I am not sure if it actually makes a difference, but it feels special to have a set of polish.
However, mine chipped within a day of application. Chipped badly, on almost all of my fingers. I am not sure if this is because of the lack of basecoat or if the topcoat is not effective, or if there is another reason altogether, but I was not impressed. Which is sad, because I really fell in love with the colour.

CND VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat

I received this product for free in return for my honest review. I was slightly disappointed because it sure didn't last a week. A couple days at the most.

CND topcoat

I was sent the CND weekly top coat free with the CND Vinylux in bloodline #GOTITFREE. I actually really liked the TopCoat, it gave a really nice glass look and was nice and shiny. I put on 2 coats as recommended. It looked absolutely gorgeous the same as if I would have gotten my nails done professionally with Shellac.
Its a great nail polish if you have somewhere special to go for a day but it does chip the same way any other nail polish would after a couple of days.
If you have extra money and you love the colours then splurge and get it, but if you are expecting it to last a week you will be disappointed

Supposed To Protect - Did Not

I applied the top coat to the dried Vinylux nailpolish I had used on my toes. It was easy to apply and dried quickly. I was upset though that my toes started chipping after 3 days, even with the top coat that's meant to protect them. Would not purchase unfortunately

Not for me...

I #Gotitfree to try thanks o Chick Advisor. The brush was just the right size as my nail beds are quite small. Usually brushes are too big but this one was just perfect.

It had a nice shiny finish, only it chipped within two days. Not sure if it's the nail polish itself or the top coat but I was disappointed.

I am greaufull to have tried it for free but I won't be purchasing it or recommending it.

Hoping for more

The nail polish and top coat looked phenomenal the day of application, but not for much longer. My nail polish began coming off in full pieces, leaving me with a completely bare nail on some fingers. Not sure if I got a bad batch.

sorry it didn't last a week

For the top coat, I didn't think it worked very well. I have applied a good generous amount of it so I don't think it didn't last because of my painting technique. To be fair, the color surely looked great with shine after applying the top coat. I like that it's easy to put on the top coat, the nail polish brush is big enough that only a few brushes worked out great.

Bottom line: If you enjoy changing your nail color/style and doesn't mind reapplying nail polish multiple times a week, this would work for you - the first two days of my nails looked well. I'm only disappointed at how long it lasted. It started chipping on day 3 and by day 5 the cracks were just too noticeable. Sadly it didn't work out for me, I prefer something that last for a week on gentle wear.
