i have read through a bunch of reviews and there is little i can add to the positive ones except that I suffered for a long time from a persistent yeast infection that would not go away. After trying many antibiotics.... I met with a naturalpath for the 3rd time who recommended that I switch exclusively to the Dove Original Bar. Not for its ingredients, which I am sure play into it somewhat, but for its moisturizing qualities. The yeast infection went away, with some help of antibiotics, natural remedies and Dove soap and I have not used anything else since.

My daughter could only use Dove when she was a baby. It was the only soap that didn't bother her skin. We still use it every day. I recommend it to anyone who has skin problems.

I love the soft scent, and how it makes my skin feel soft. Not my first choice for facial skin care, but definitely would use if I needed to. I love this bar for my hands, and even my body.
