I bought Dove beauty bars (white) as I have very dry skin and I needed a bar soap that is moisturizing. After reading several positive reviews about them, I decided to give them a chance too. Each bar comes individually packaged in a box. When I took the bar out of the box, I noticed each bar has a dove engraved in it and immediately felt the weight of the bar. It was a bit heavier than other soaps, and it felt like suede, gave me the feeling that it was full of moisture. And that, it was! I used it on my hands first and noticed it lathers up fairly quickly. It has a very light to no smell to it and that was good for me as I was pregnant and couldn't use anything with strong smell to it. As I was rubbing the soap between my hands, I could feel a layer of moisture or lotion settling in my skin. It was creamy and smooth on my hands. I washed off the soap and dried my hands and could feel my hands weren't dry anymore. I followed up with some hand cream to lock that moisture in. Since then, I started using this in the shower and even use it on my kids. They have eczema and they love it too. The light smell also helps a lot and makes it easy to use on the kids. Store it in a dry soap dish until next use as leaving it in a wet soap dish will make the soap diminish quickly. I highly recommend this product. Definitely one of the better soaps you can buy from a big box retailer. Over several months of use, I notice my hands aren't as dry as they used to be. They also come in good use in the winter months.

Dries out my skin

I found it to dry out my skin when using it in the shower. The body wash from dove is way better so i would stick with that more then the bar soap. My husband likes the bar soap though and doesnt seem to have that same issue!!

Best Bar

Dove White Beauty Bar is an amazing beauty bar. Fresh, clean smell. My face and body is never dried out or itchy. I use it on my grandkids as well and they never have any issues with skin irritations. Cost is not to extreme. Always able to locate in grocery stores, or super stores.

As stated I have used Dove bars for years. I find them to be gentle on my skin and lather well. I also use the body wash and the new Dove shower foam.

Love this soap bar– silky smooth skin!

I’ve been using Doves beauty bar for awhile now, it’s what I stock up at home with. I love the fact this bar doesn’t dry out my skin like some other brands I’ve tried in the past. The product gets fairly creamy/lots of soapy spuds! Doves beauty bar provides a calm refreshing clean.

LOVE this bar soap as it makes my skin feel fresh and soft I use to crave the smell of dove soap when I was pregnant that's how much i love soap !! And it lasts a long time!

Gentle soap

I really like using this bar of soap to wash my face. I have been using this brand of soap for years. I like how it doesn't dry out my skin on my face and how gentle it is. It really cleanses my face beautifully! I recommend this product to everyone who likes a good gentle soap to use on their skin.

Very sensitive on skin has great effect leaves skin clean and smooth would recommend for people with sensitive skin. I definitely am going to use it again.
