Nice product

I enjoyed using Dr. Belmeur's soothing gel cream. My skin felt like hydration had been sealed in before applying my makeup, but very comfortably and without much residue. It also has a delightful subtle scent that I really liked. Most certainly an enjoyable final step in my beauty routine #gotitfree

Very moisturizing!

I recieved this product for free to review. I used this product everyday, twice a day, for 2 weeks on my dry patches. The Dr Belmeur Panthenol Soothing Cream was very moisturuzing and got rid of my dry patches in a few days. I thought it was a little too thick to use all over my face during the hot and humid summer but I plan on saving the rest of this for the cold Canadian winters.

Dr. Belmeur Gel Cream

This wasn't as fast absorbing as I was hoping it'd be. It leaves the gel feel on your skin and is pretty sticky feeling. The scent itself is pretty nice and isn't too overwhelming on the skin. I would more likely use this at night than during the day for extra hydration.

Great for Summer

This has no scent which is great for those who are sensitive to fragrances. It's a gel moisturizer which is great for the hot summer days when I needed to moisturize my skin but didn't want to be weighted down.

Works great

I received this for free in the product review club. I've been putting this on every morning after the serum and this works nicely. If you don't need a serum, this gel would still work great on its own. The price is high, but I do think it is more justifiable since this works well alone and for someone like me is great for every day, with or without makeup. Makeup applies without a problem on top of this, which is very important to me. Overall I would recommend if the more affordable alternatives don't work out for you, or if you're looking for plant based ingredients that you can't access as easily.

Soothing Indeed!

I really liked using this Gel Cream. Both my husband and I tried out the sample I got, and we both found it to be very soothing and good for our skin. I could tell that the moisturizing qualities were really working, and it didn't feel greasy on my skin. Very good!

About my skin: I have combination skin. It can get oily on my cheeks, nose and forehead. HOWEVER, I am extremely dry and eczema prone right under my nose, on top of my lips. I have to constantly use topical steroid cream to keep rash and flareups at bay.

Value: It's $42 on their website. For the amount of gel you get, it's pretty good value. You don't need to use a lot.

Quality: I feel like it's a very hydrating gel. The smell is pleasant and a little minty?? Because of this, be very careful not to put it around your eyes. I'm lazy and don't have a separate eye cream... I just push lotion all of my face and this stung my eyes!!!! when I'm careful to avoid my eyes, it's not problem

Effectiveness: I would say it's effective. In combination with the serum, it keeps my eczema at bay for up to a week or so before I have to intervene with my topical steroid creams again. Otherwise, I use the topical steroid cream daily.

I liked this the least out of the products sent to me for review. Mostly because i'm lazy and would like to be able to spread cream all over my face without worry that it'd burn my eyes if it gets too close.

Dr. B panthenol soothing gel cream

I received the Dr. Belmeur panthenol soothing gel cream courtesy of chickadvisor in exchange for my honest and unbiased review #gotitfree.

This gel comes in a tube form and it is a clear semi thick gel. It has a nice and light floral scent. There was no instructions on how to apply it so I used this every morning.

You only need a pea size amount and it feels really light weight after application. It left my face feeling smooth without any stickiness. I like applying this especially around my cheekbone area where it can get a bit dry. I also apply a bit to my elbow and knuckles as it states that this gel is for dry skin. After using this, I can say my skin does feel more moisturized and there's no cracks.

I would probably purchase this again and would recommend it to my friends.

Great Clean Gel for Face!

I received this product free from Chick Advisor for testing purposes in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed using this soothing gel because it makes your skin feel like its healing when this is on. I will definitely purchase this again so I can keep my skin looking great!

Definitely is very soothing!

I was really excited to try this product because I was looking for a nice morning moisturizer. I will say I don't find this as moisturizing as other Dr. Belmeur products. It IS moisturizing but others are just so excellent that it almost feels like this falls short to the others. I definitely feel a soothing/cooling type sensation when I put it on so it does do what it says. It's also a nice base for makeup. I don't think I would repurchase this for the price however I would recommend trying it if you are looking for a soothing/refreshing morning moisturizer.
