My Review on GlutGuard

I recently tried GlutGuard, a supplement designed to help with accidental gluten exposure. I think it can be a really handy product for people who are mildly sensitive to gluten, especially when eating out or traveling.

In my case, I didn’t notice a strong enough effect for my level of intolerance. However, my husband tried it too and found it very effective for him!

So overall, I believe it’s worth giving it a try — better to try it and see if it works for you than not try it at all.

Only for mild intolerance

I don’t have celiac but I’m intolerant, though I found the pills don’t help me enough as I still get super bloated and have to take Pepcid for my acid reflux to calm down when I take this and eat gluten, also the pills are hard to swallow they are quite big.

Helped a little but not worth the price

When I received this to test and review from butterfly I was excited as I follow a gluten free diet. Although there was minor relief in symptoms, it wasn’t enough to justify the price. If you are incredibly sensitive, it would be beneficial for minor gluten ingestion. Don’t recommend.

Forgetful

It worked for my husband when he remembered to take it. Packaging that would be easy to carry, as its meals out that bother him. Didn't always have it with him, didn't want to remove and carry in pocket.
Easy to take.

Unfortunately it did not help me

Unfortunately, this product did not help me with my gluten symptoms. I followed the directions to the T and I still got bloated and had abdominal discomfort. I tried it multiple times within a one month period until all pills were used up. I even tried doubling up on the dosage, and it still did not work for me. I had really high hopes that I would be able to enjoy foods that I used to be able to before becoming sensitive to gluten :(

Helpful for Digestion

I found this product helpful but not 100% effective in cutting down gluten with accidental ingestion or cross contamination. Discomfort was limited with the pill, only when taken before eating. I also tried after some consumption started, it was not as effective. Overall I would keep this product on hand as an option but do not rely on it daily.

Decent Product

I was excited to try this product for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
This product can be taken up to 15 minutes prior to accidental gluten ingestion. I tried it several times and find it moderately effective in easing symptoms. Hard to anticipate when you are going to accidentally injest a product with gluten, but nice to have available if ever needed.

the product seemed to help me when I accidentally ingested gluten a few times. It helps alleviate symptoms related to accidentally eating gluten. Thanks

Maybe good for some, not for me

I was really looking forward to using this product, and was hopeful. Unfortunately, it didn’t do anything but give me gut issues. Some ingredient(s) caused more pain, than eating actual gluten. I hope it works for others, but didn’t help me. I understand how the product would give confidence to go out to events, and be with friends, and I’m thankful for a product like that for others is amazing.
